Good Essendon crowd there. Probably 5,000 or so.

Probably something to do with the wins being terrible except the North win (Carlton was a drubbing so you can't expect too much fanfare)It used to be that during our song after we won the supporters would do an arm raise each time 'up' is sung. After the game yesterday it seemed hardly anyone did it and I've noticed the same thing at games in Melbourne recently.

You want them to sit with you in the High Mark section or do you want to sit on Level 3? I don't think there is GA seats at Etihad for us but you can get away with buying the cheapest ticket and usually sit on the top deck somewhere.I'm an Adult High Mark member so I have a reserved seat to this Friday's game, but I wanna sit with a non-member friend.
How do I buy their General Admission seat online? Or do I have to buy it on the day at the ground?
Yeah I just wanna sit with them on level 3, anywhere. You want them to sit with you in the High Mark section or do you want to sit on Level 3? I don't think there is GA seats at Etihad for us but you can get away with buying the cheapest ticket and usually sit on the top deck somewhere.
That's what most people do, I know Doss did something similar for the Footscray game.Yeah I just wanna sit with them on level 3, anywhere.
So I'm best off just buying them a cheap "reserved seat" and finding two empties?
We had Ryder, Bellchambers and Hille at the time, and Jenkins was a rookie and unlikely to push ahead of any of them.Could someone please let me know the circumstances behind Jenkins leaving our club, he'd be pretty handy up forward for us at the moment, thanks in advance.

We had picks 19 and 41, the Crows had 31 and we wanted a better pick. Maric had just left and needed immediate backup for Sam Jacobs. And, we had a player who was unlikely to get a game in the foreseeable future on the list.
With pick 31, we got Jackson Merrett ultimately.
Jenkins would be handy right now, but I'm not unhappy that we did it.
In the latest BTW video (May 13) where Goddard is creaming over a coach, Jobe mentions hes watching draft day. Anyone know what team he follows (I have a feeling I read the Pats somewhere?) and if any of the other bombers are big followers of American sports?

Do you have a reserved seat? For tonights game am I right in thinking I can't just walk in with my membership?
Nah I don't, was just hoping to sit in general admission.Do you have a reserved seat?
I don't think there will be GA for this game, so yes, you'd need to upgrade to a seat.Nah I don't, was just hoping to sit in general admission.
Ok cheers for thatI don't think there will be GA for this game, so yes, you'd need to upgrade to a seat.
EDIT: Tonights game is a category A-Reserved game, so you will certainly need a seat.
Not really the right thread for a detailed discussion, but that's as reflective of the fact that Carlisle is woefully out of form at the moment as it is to the folly of letting Jenkins go.I will disagree with part of Doss' post. What Doss doesn't say is that Jenkins was rookied through the alternative pathways program. So in other words he was a PURE development rookie. Adelaide offered Jenkins a spot on their primary list which Essendon wouldn't offer. My understanding is that EFC were intrested in drafting Campbell who was a Bendigo listed player at the time. Unfortunately the Bulldogs grabbed Campbell first.
I maintain it was a strange decision to let Jenkins go - Some argue that we drafted Jackson Merritt at 31, possibly he would have been available at pick 40. At this stage Jenkins would be more value than Merritt. And it was frustrating to see Jenkins cut up Keefe, seeing that Carlisle couldn't get a kick on Keefe on Anzac Day.

Who, really, was he likely to get a game ahead of in 2012?
Don't get me wrong- I'd take Jenkins now without hesitation. But at the end of 2011, I think it's pretty understandable how it happened.
Yeah, you're not the first one to ask.
