Well guys I cannot believe the night I had with Caroline Wilson. Not only has she changed many peoples minds about her at the function but I also won the raffle, 42" HD TV. Geez could this year get any better.

Anyway, she was amazing, told some beauty stories about the irish trip back in 84. (and you think Fevola is bad) She had a red hot go at Judds idea that leadership is only on the field. Demitrious foul mouthed messages on her phone. I asked her a question about her sources and how does she trust them and vise a versa. She admitted about various errors of judgements. She will not back down about matthew Knights and knows her source was right at the time.

She has and was treated like a piece of poo early in her career and when she got the main job at the age most of the reporters would not work for her, just because she was a female.

She isn't very fond of Hutchy but also blames channel 9 for wanting a confrontational show, as Caro admits she is opinionated and for a while she wasn't on speaking terms with Thomo.

She had the blokes eating out her hands at the end of the speech.

However one issues I took umbridge at was her dislike of Mick, she said that he was at times an arrogant prickly pear his contempt towards junior reporters is out of line (nothing I really didn't know already) then she went onto say Mick will be at ...... hold onto your breath .... Carlton. I fell of my seat. I asked her what makes her think this, her cryptic reply Greg Swan.

Basically when young and listening to her fathers banter when he was at Richmond she learnt to listen to the behind the scenes goings on. She saw sport as more than just what you see on the field. To bring it to the people who love the game, even her father banned her from going into the rooms. She has reported on many sports and AFL is in her blood and she loves everything about it. She was really approachable. Totally great lady.

What really annoys me about Carlton is that they do not have one original idea. The copy everything, if they can't get what they want, they sook and steal and bribe. Watch the Gavin Brown video. I hope Gavin is really working as a spy making sure the Scums stay cemented to mediocracy.

This may well be true...for now. Two things will definetly happen next year 1) carlton will offer to pay his contract out and 2) they will offer an obscene amount of money for mick to coach.

Really in the end it's about if Mick wants to continue being a senior coach. I reckon he's the type that likes to end on a high and as he says 'leave something in the tank'. Likely to finish at the pies.
