Thought Nankervis looked better tonight
He's a flexible player who can play anywhere.

Perfect 5th player on the bench to give us cover.

Needs to be given a decent run of games.

Every single person on the planet who understands modern football knows that Keane needs to replace one of N Murray or Borlase (a tough call that could go either way), Tex needs to replace T Murray with Thilthorpe going into the second ruck role, with Rankine coming in for Pedlar.

Therefore these changes are a 0.0% chance of happening. Nicks will find a way to play all 4 of T Murray, Walker, Thilthorpe and Fog, and justify it in his tiny mind by thinking that it worked a treat in Rd 1.

Pissing rain all week. Dees the hardest running team in the comp. “They don’t get any shorter”. Derp.

Can smell this one from a mile away.

I sense Nankervis being dropped with some sort of bullshit rationale about “him being a tallish type so really Tex coming in for Nank keeps us with the same number of talls hehe” making sense in the beautiful mind of Maffew.

Sounds like someone who isn’t a Curtin fan. Why don’t you like Curtin? You know what? I’m done with people like you. You walk in and start Nankervis this and Nankervis that. You make me sick. Serious question though. How good is a Chardonnay followed by Shiraz?

So TT finally seems to be over the back complaint thats been hampering him all year, and we’re gonna chuck him straight back into 2nd ruck duties? I don’t buy it.

Out: Pedlar and TMurray
In: Rankine and Tex

Keane is going to have to have a second game in the SANFL (might be a good thing after a broken leg)
Wouldn’t that be his 3rd?

Not sure you can keep carrying Toby Murray, the output simply isn't there.

Finally will get an answer to our key forward question.

Four talls? Or three talls with Thilthorpe 2nd ruck?

Also interesting to see if Keane replaces Borlase or N Murray. Borlase has recent tenure and is playing well. Murray looked closer to his physical, chaotic best tonight than he's looked for a while.

Rankine for Pedlar an easy one.
Probably someone will go down on the track during the week.

That's true

Plus a suspension from the MRP

We'll be lucky to field a team in hindsight

Borlase is great in the air and in contests but unfortunately he has the worst kicking skills of any key defender that's ever played for the club

Out: Pedlar (hamstring), T. Murray, Borlase
In: Rankine, Walker, Keane
Hmmm. Re Borlase' disposal, I might have to go back to Specsavers again.

Only given is Rank for Peds

The Walker for T Murray is the other option but I think Murray does well in ruck and if he held those marks he would have had a very good game.

Can they play 4 talls, I don't think so and if they did who do you drop. I would say you cant as apart from Laird I wouldn't drop any of the players

In: Keane, Rankine
Out: Borlase, Pedlar

That might be curtains for Pedlar as it is not the time to have an injury with Taylor charging. Borlase is uber unlucky as he played very well, but Keane--Murray is the superior defensive combo.
