Only given is Rank for Peds

The Walker for T Murray is the other option but I think Murray does well in ruck and if he held those marks he would have had a very good game.

Can they play 4 talls, I don't think so and if they did who do you drop. I would say you cant as apart from Laird I wouldn't drop any of the players
Tex in will be a given.

Is it? We've already shown a willingness to leave him out this year when the team has put up a strong AFL performance.
Yes it it a given.

Every single person on the planet who understands modern football knows that Keane needs to replace one of N Murray or Borlase (a tough call that could go either way), Tex needs to replace T Murray with Thilthorpe going into the second ruck role, with Rankine coming in for Pedlar.

Therefore these changes are a 0.0% chance of happening. Nicks will find a way to play all 4 of T Murray, Walker, Thilthorpe and Fog, and justify it in his tiny mind by thinking that it worked a treat in Rd 1.

Pissing rain all week. Dees the hardest running team in the comp. “They don’t get any shorter”. Derp.

Can smell this one from a mile away.

I sense Nankervis being dropped with some sort of bullshit rationale about “him being a tallish type so really Tex coming in for Nank keeps us with the same number of talls hehe” making sense in the beautiful mind of Maffew.
What was your tip for tonight?

We seem to look more balanced with one of the big 3 out. Same thing last week with Thilthorpe out.

Also helps when our big forwards are playing with the roof closed / indoors. We'd probably win most weeks if we played at Marvel tbh, it just seems to suit us.

More dynamic as well. The rigid structure and entry positions are binned for players hitting up the best target available. Much harder to defend. It’s exciting to watch.

In: Tex, Keane Rankine
Out: Murrays, Pedlar
Yeah, I’d be shocked if these aren’t the changes.

There’s a chance that Nick Murray stays in ahead of Borlase, but Borlase played well last night, especially when coming off his man to spoil a Bulldog that would have otherwise marked uncontested.

Borlase is great in the air and in contests but unfortunately he has the worst kicking skills of any key defender that's ever played for the club

Out: Pedlar (hamstring), T. Murray, Borlase
In: Rankine, Walker, Keane
I think you’re being a bit unfair on Borlase. He’s not great, but the Crows have had a lot of KPPs with horrible kicking in general play.

Finally will get an answer to our key forward question.

Four talls? Or three talls with Thilthorpe 2nd ruck?

Also interesting to see if Keane replaces Borlase or N Murray. Borlase has recent tenure and is playing well. Murray looked closer to his physical, chaotic best tonight than he's looked for a while.

Rankine for Pedlar an easy one.
Surely they don’t play 4 talls when Turray is in as average form as he is right now.

He's not coming back from an injury this time.

The question will be whether we drop Murray and play Filthy as 2nd ruck.... which any sane person would do.

You'd think its as simple as -

Pedlar -> Rankine
Borlase -> Keane
Turray -> Walker

Cumming and Hinge to play SANFL, I could see a world where Murray drops out for Keane given how selection has gone this year. Keane has to get through the weekend first.

I quite like to Toby Murray but he comes out for Tex. it’s a no brainer imo
