The likely final changes are McCartin for Rampe and Hamling for Francis (remembering that Francis started last week in defence) and I suspect Bice over Florent as sub. Otherwise it ends up with Blakey playing tall which he is not very good at, plus it kills his offensive output

The other indication that Hamling will play is that if he doesn’t the emergencies would end up as Buller Ladhams and Hamling and it would be very odd to name all 3 emergencies as talls.

Yep this team is just absolutely horrific in the forward line.

Too many half ruck talls and then also too many wingers playing as small forwards etc

Had chances while players were out and we were long odds at winning to try these things too. Look lose this week hopefully the noise is louder.

Surely not, he's been putrid for most of the season. I'd offer more in the forward line and I'm a middle aged, overweight woman!

No surprise it was a significant injury one of the worst you can have for a player of his size and position.

I hope we are doing everything we can for him to have a decent pre-season

Okay, the team showing on afl.com.au now has the changes as:

In: Amartey, Hamling, McCartin
Out: Florent, Rampe, Francis

but emergencies are now Ladhams, Florent, and Cleary.

Bice on the extended bench last night but no longer in the emgs (replaced by Cleary).
