Vic Rain and Thunderstorms

Anyone been hit by the thunderstorms around 4 this arvo?

Was walking home, not raining and there was a black out. The traffic lights were out. Got home, no power was on. Decided to go to 7/11 because it was hot and get a slurpee.

Walked up, heard a bit of thunder and it started to rain a bit. Got to 7/11 and as soon as I walked in it started pelting down. Had to run home.

Still raining and there's still thunder. Not often, but it's pretty loud.

I also heard that there were thunderstorms in QLD and NSW. Is this true?

It's going east, so we should be fine soon.

In Ringwood East, we have had thunder since about 4pm & still getting it, plus we had a hailstorm, with huge hail stones, thought they were going to break the windows.

A little bit of lightning and thunder in Essendon, then about 2 minutes of torrential rain, followed by about 5 more minutes of rain.

Pretty light, really.

Nope. Didn't have a thunderstorm at all today. It missed where I live. I think that it hit the Wendouree area instead of the Mount clear area.

There was one in my part of the world at work in town today at 12.00 p.m. - the clouds were CHARCOAL before it hit, thunder and lightning the whole sheebang. woohoo cooled down a tad. Has been mega humid since last Friday even on Magnetic Island where I live which is usually a bit cooler than Townsville. More to come. Must be Xmas soon then.
