Ok, rain has been forecasted for tonight, Friday and Saturday. IYO does this give us more of a chance and do we need to change our team structure?

Geelong is one team you don't want to play in the wet, they don't rely on talls and their midfielders are mudlarks.....bartel will have 40.

who will stop bartel in the wet?

do u think u guys will play attackingly or defensively i.e tags on midfielders? looking forward to the game, should be a cracker:thumbsu:

Axel had somewhere between 40 and 50 in the wet mudheap at Punt Road a couple of years ago, i think it got him into the firsts for his debut if i remember correctly:)
Colac boy used to the wet:thumbsu:

might be worth having a bet on the tigers this week. If freo could take the cats to one point, the tigers can beat them. i.e. in the words of lethal, if it bleeds we can kill it. ;)

naaaa, when its footy, its barnie.

He made the comment when the unbeatable bummers in 2000? showed that they could be wounded. Then who do you think was the coach that made good on his prediction? yep....;)

Same coach who 2 years ago also won the unwinnable game against The Crows... also round 8 coincidentally... ;)

long shot tip. If it is the case where we get up in the upset. I will go out on a limb here, with a hunch on how this comp is now manipulated to appease the masses, when the cats lose their unbeaten status, the other 2 teams will as well. So get on to the 3 game spread and collect big time, for a few bucks. ;)

it won't rain

Rain and wind.

Can't wait to see the Burgers on the G.

Like the good old days nearly.

Hate the theatre going aspect of crowds these days-everyone rocks up 5 mins before the game.

Used to be great when you used to get to the g at 11.30 and watch some under 19s and reserves.

Didn't feel like a business then.

We are in with a BIG Chance Go Tiges.

Big chance is going a bit far don't you think?

Reality is. Geelong need to play an absolute shocker of a game, while Richmond play their greatest of the year.... big chance?? I think not.

Geelong played absolute garbage against Freo who put in their best performance for the year without doubt. We still got over them at Subiaco. Richo never does a thing against us... Foley usually plays well but thats about where it begins and ends...

Good luck all the same. Glad I'm sitting in front of my 100inch proj / heater than at the G today. Lets hope its a good spectacle, even if it is a mongrel of a game in the wet.

In reality I thought we would have more of a chane in ideal conditions. Geelong have big bodied players and harder runners then ours. Our blokes may be faster, but thats not gonna be much use in shitty conditions
