I've seen the first 3 eps of RWBY, and it starts off like any other cop show. Main protagonist meets main antagonist. Then the protagonist joins forces with a bunch of people to take out the antagonist. Very predictable.

But will continue watch for Ruby's sister Yang. That rack.
mate, i'm not sure how to break it to you.... it's an animation.
also FYI, the creator has recently passed away, so the next season will probably fade into something different because they don't have his input and animation anymore, but they do have what he'd already done, so they'll fade him out gradually, while keeping as much as they can to what he had in mind.

If you're watching any sort of anime for any reason it's probably time to change everything about your life let's face it.
Just started. This is the first series of anime I'm watching.

So it's basically a generic story line in anime?

Oh good.

Hopefully your bad experience will mean this never, ever happens again.

Anime is like the Linkin Park of TV genres.

Objectively painfully shit but for some reason really popular amongst pathetic neckbeards and MRAs.

ok yeh i watched a bit of 4 nations
Erm..

I found this a bit harsh and I don't even watch anime.

I'll have to check out Red vs Blue at some point then. Thinking of Machinima takes me back quite a bit. I know it's not machinima, but did anyone watch the Yugioh Abridged Series back in like 06/07? I just remembered it existed.

haha I was never into Yu-Gi-Oh but I found the Abridged Series absolutely hilarious, I watched it in 07/08 when the new episodes came out on an iTunes podcast. Even had the movie and all. Strange considering I've never been a fan of anime or anything like that

I used to be a bit of a fan of Yugioh when it was on Cheez TV because everyone played the bloody card game at school. I can't remember anything about the Abridged Series even though I downloaded each new episode as soon as possible with my super slow internet at the time.

On anime, I've only watched a bit of Yugioh, some Hayao Miyazaki films that weren't too bad (are movies counted as anime?) and I used to watch the Avatar series, but that isn't really anime. Some friends are trying to get me into stuff like Full Metal Alchemist, Attack on Something and a whole heap of others that I just couldn't care less about. I've delved about as far as I ever plan on going into anime and stuff.

I have a friend who is incredibly into Japanese Culture, anime and all that. His entire life revolves around watching anime.

Stole his iPod from him one day in year 8 to see what songs he had. One artist. Linkin Park. Nothing else.

He got a Linkin Park tattoo recently as well. It looks like this one I got from google.

Is he the same guy from 4chan whose iTunes library consists only of 'In The End' with 50,000 plays?

Saw a van that said "MIMP: Connecting Solutions" today while driving. Would have taken a pic but I was driving but you know. I didn't even know you had a van.

**** you **** you **** you **** you **** you.

Actually, I do own a van. A Mazda van. White, with spots of rust around the passenger door. It's great when I pack a couch, stereo, esky and people in and head to the drive-in movies.
