The SC ruled in 2019 the issue of gerrymandering was a states issue. And this doesn't touch on the issue of 'accidental' mismanaging of polling places. They need a federal statutory body to oversee elections, but they won't, as their conception of democracy is about restricting it.

That’s what I said re 2019 and the earlier 2006 decision, I was agreeing with you on that point. I disagree with the actual SC decision as you need a unified federal voice on this issue.

I do agree on the need for a wider body to oversee gerrymandering as it keeps happening in the modern America. Both parties refuse to do it and the SC seems to be weak willed on the matter.

The never trumpers are not growing and they mostly won’t vote as a result, as they view Biden as losing the plot.

Yes gerrymandering happens, and on the wholesale level, but no it’s not against African Americans, it’s republicans and democrats trying to benefit their party.

The fact Biden is probably going to run with Harris, one was instrumental in creating the private prison system, the other spent a life time locking kids of colour up for misdemeanours. Is pretty indicative of the system.

So I suggest the fact it doesn’t matter, which party is in power, because neither represents the people is a larger issue then how the party lines are drawn up..
