Exhibit 1. To think my hard earned puts food on the table of this joker. Can't us taxpayers, past , present and emerging, bring some kind of class action against this buffoonery?
Its funny cos I think its the only reasonable question the campaigner has asked in his career and I'll bet he wouldn't have asked it if the AFP used a LRAD against people blockading a mine site or coal port instead of the weirdos he wants voting for him.

Or do you think these things are some bullshit conspiracy instead of actual products that have been marketed to law enforcement agencies across the world for over a decade?

(Cos you probably need to change your avatar if that's the case.)

The Long Range Acoustic device is a real weapon. The VIc coppers had something that looked like one at one of those riots back in winter.

You'll see a picyure of it here on the sales page of the company that makes them.

What is it supposed to do?

Its a high powered speaker basically. It is marketed as a communication device - a loudspeaker with a huge range maybe the biggest ones up to five kilometers. But they are programmed to emit white noise and other annoying sounds at really high intensity. So they can be used for crowd dispersal and as a "non lethal" or "less lethal" weapon.

Police depts or local governments in the US have been sued by people who suffered permanent hearing damage as a result of their use.

And the AFP confirmed to News Ltd that they had them in 2016.

A number of police departments in Australia confirmed to news.com.au they have LRADs and all said the devices were used for their loudspeaker ability. No one mentioned whether the high-pitched “alert” function had been used.

Queensland, Victoria, Western Australia, South Australia as well as the Australian Federal Police, all confirmed they have an LRAD.

If they use these things, there's no debate about whether they have been used or not.

They are real things. The AFP has admitted they have them to News Ltd over five years ago.

They are not just sonic weapons. They do function as long range speakers and that may be a legitimate use for them altho they are also crowd control weapons and were specifically built to enable that function.

But if the feds used them in a crowd control capacity and someone was injured as a result I would expect Kelly or any other politician who was approached about it to raise the issue in parliament. Its their duty.

Val Keating, seen this?

Just another domino. It doesn’t mention it in the article, but did he change his plea to guilty by any chance?

What’s going on with Les Wexner? He has to be close.

So many people are going to get away with this because Maxwell pleaded not guilty. Epstein was going to name names and he wound up dead, not a bad message to send.
