it depends on how much they blame Christie for the loss.
I don't really get what people mean by Obama not delivering. I mean, if you expected flying pigs that shit gold, yeah you're screwed, by saving the motor-industry, something akin to a sane health care plan, repeal of don't ask don't tell, out of iraq, a clear plan to get out of afghanistan, deciding to go into pakistan because that's where everyone expected osama to be and guess what, and some other stuff. if you expected him to turn the economy around and get back to 5% GDP growth and 5% unemployment when no-one had any idea just how bad the economy was collapsing when he took power, then well you overestimate how much influence the prez can have. He made sure it wasn't as bad as it could be, started the slow path to recovery and threw in some wall st reform to boot, so it's not all bad on that front either.
that's not to say obama hasn't done some wrong things. but 'deliver' is so vague. and no-one ever extends on that.
Promised to end the war in Iraq in 16 months and finally removed all troops after 35 months when negotiations to keep them longer failed.
Signed an executive order to prevent lobbyist beings hired into senior government positions, then he waived this several times so he could do just that.
He promised "fiscal responsibility" but tripled the annual deficit from previous levels and signed over $5 trillion of new debt into law.
Said in 2009 that his policies would give a $557 billion deficit by 2012, it is at $1,100 billion
Promised to close Gitmo.
Said he was against a mandate to purchase health insurance.
Attacked the Bush tax cuts, then extended and expanded them.
Put a $800 billion spending bill through Congress at the beginning of his Presidency to ensure unemployment is kept under 8%
