Now why on earth would they do that - surely that's stupidity - don't they know it's never over until the fat lady sings! It would be like paying out on a horse race before the race starts - although probably you would be pretty safe paying out on a race with Winx in the field[emoji4]

The publicity of early payouts is worth more to them than the risk, especially with the election supposedly being a done deal. I will say, they do early payouts on events quite a lot and this is the first time I can recall them losing on it. They love paying the Brownlow out early a few days before to remind people to come and bet on the Brownlow.

Correct

And the above is “free footy forum speech” on the footy forum according to hb35 (atop his high horse)

Questioning, specifics etc is to be considered “hate speech”, and solved/silenced this way-
I've noticed that you think any opinion that isn't yours is 'high horse'.

This is the non footy discussion thread, so feel free to talk about what you like (Israel Folau is an ex-footy player for what it's worth, so not sure what my post about him has to do with it). My point was you seem to have created an alt account on this footy forum with the sole intent of talking SRP topics, but not on the SRP board. It's a weird choice.

Re: silencing. I've been on BigFooty for eight years, and in that time have blocked zero people and have muted one person. That person was you, when you recently said diversity was a weakness that was diluting the world. That was a pretty big clue that yours is an opinion not worth reading. I'm pretty open to opinion from any side of the argument, as long as they're respectfully made and based in reality. Yet here we are, with me having muted one person ever and it being you - I'd be interested as to why you think that is.

Also, since you love semantics so much, I never once said hate speech. Back on ignore you go, until morbid curiosity gets the better of me.

I meant to see it when it came out, didn’t get around to it. Sounds like a few people think it’s good - I know Paige’s story is pretty interesting so hopefully I’ll see it soon.
Yeah I’m not up to date with WWE atm and had to google who paige was. Was surprised that she’s retired already.

The good version is already out on the illegal sites if you roll that way.

Every time I decide to give AFL Evolution another go I always remember why I stop playing it - the marking mechanic is just so bad.

Like, I understand how hard it would be to implement well, but surely they could’ve done better.

I’m not sure if it’s covered in the movie but she had a freak spinal injury about a year ago. She’s still active as a manager, just can never wrestle again.

Yeah supposed be coming out later this year.

I bought Evo when it first came out and have played it pretty sparingly since, the marking is a game killer

Every now and then I’ll want to give it another crack, but it is always a frustrating let down. Marking is absolutely cooked in the game. It does have some moments that are awesome, but too few and far between.

They’ve delayed the sequel to later this year - surely just delay it the full year and release it for Round 1, 2020.

Honestly I’d pay for a remaster of AFL Premiership 2007 with updated lists, grounds, uniforms etc. Spent my childhood playing that game.

I’m a rusted on liberal voter but for the first time in forever I was seriously contemplating voting Labor because I thought they were the better party with better policies. The stumbling block was Shorten, just can’t stand him

Ended up voting for an independent. Counted for nought - the liberal candidate in my electorate got over line before preferences
Mirrored my own thoughts. Funnily enough I spoke to some lifetime Labor voters who were going the other way this time because of Shorten and the franking policy.

Ahh no. Amongst others I’ve had the occasional difference of opinion with Al re “running patterns” and the Match Committee. Never accused him of being on a high horse, just wrong. And the last couple games have shown we’re slowly getting better minus the “running patterns”

My point was you seem to have created an alt account on this footy forum with the sole intent of talking SRP topics, but not on the SRP board. It's a weird choice.

In the last 4 weeks have posted re Mitchel, Lycett and said atleast a couple of times how about Oscar to back line

The Oscar Darling JK mix is not working, putting Oscar in the back line keeps him playing, and hopefully Darling can then find some form

With Schofield looking tired, and Barrass out for a while, and limited options to replace, what’s your thoughts re Oscar to back line??

So your wrong there too
And going by Friday nights game, the Oscar to back line was not a bad (football based) call..

Ive never (from memory) instigated SRP topics, just replied, sometimes giving a different perspective. And have done so with some trepidation, as there appears to be very much a (high horse, browbeating) one way street there...

Etc etc

She's also made some other good home movies too :p

Lol the Bleacher report(on twitter) out of no where decided to post Tom Stewart’s Mark. That said the AFL account was there to the rescue with a link to Ryan’s mark.

Never tried VR but would be keen to give it a go
It's pretty impressive technology when done right. I got the Playstation headset last year, and its pretty impressive. I have spent way too much time in Skyrim VR

Resident Evil is supposed to be amazing in VR but i'm too chicken to try it (tried a few horror type experiences and was genuinely frightened).

Was watching a video and it mentioned lawn darts. I had no idea what it was, so did a 2 minute research on it. it was banned in 1988 in the US after a little girl was killed by one in 1987 and a couple incidents relating to injuries. Funny/sad that guns have taken out so many innocent children and they still don’t want anything to do with gun control.

And they've banned those seriously dangerous kinder surprises too. It's cool though as long as kids can still get their pink rifles.
