I agree, 'it's just not cricket' as they say. At the same time it's possible for a team (cough, Mourinho) to play 10 behind the ball for the entire game and have it fizzle out into a non contest.

Simplest response to that is parking the bus is 90 minutes ‘wasted’ compared to five days. Plus a team like that can still make one mistake and have it all be for nought, rather than getting a minimum of 10 mistakes before their strategy fails.

I can’t pretend that’s my only issue with cricket though. Big Bash is the most palatable version for me and even that bores me to tears to watch a full game outside of an important final here or there.

Cricket isn’t for me, all good, just don’t want to lose this thread, which is often the sanest part of BigFooty, for the next month. Where else will I vent about the absolute madness that happens on this board?

I didn't get it, but I haven't given up hope. Maybe MrKK just hasn't seen my post in that thread yet. My mum says I write good so when he sees me words he'll surely will love them.
