Thinking of changing the browser on my desktop but have IE on my new laptop.

I have only ever used IE but have heard that Firefox & Google Chrome are pretty good.

Is it true that google "tracks" users?

Still have IE6 on my desktop & it is driving me insane.

Pages take ages to load & "hang".

I've only used Chrome once on a friends pc and I wasn't impressed. Stopped using IE this year, because it cost me $200 to fix my pc for downloading a virus.

Opera is another good browser that I've used in the past.
