Maybe it's just me, but if not, what are those numbers that you might just randomly see (maybe on a digital clock, a book page number or a number plate for example) that instantaneously reminds you of something? Every time. For me:

9 - Rob Quiney
37 - Usman Khawaja debut innings
39 - Collingwood's score against us rd 17, 2014
45 - Mario Balotelli
68 - Jarryd Roughead goals in 2013
86 - Gareth Bale's transfer fee
113 - Buddy Franklin goals in 2008
119 - 2007 AFL Grand Final margin
161 - Laps around Mount Panorama
208 - Stuart MacGill test career wickets
215 - Runs conceded by Jason Krejza in his 8-for on test debut
329 - Michael Clarke v India 2011
334 - Don Bradman and Mark Taylor
408 - Phillip Hughes test cap
568 - Josh Hazlewood's figures on debut
633 - Shane Watson's career best figures against Pakistan
708 - Shane Warne test career wickets
774 - ABC Grandstand
888 - Craig Lowndes
911 - September 11 Attacks (obviously)
926 - Matthew Lloyd's career goals
944 - Time the Martin Place Siege begun
1116 - SEN

211- the number of missed calls I had from a crazy ex one time. Not that long ago I was waiting for a tram and what should show up than tram number 211. I don't normally go looking for tram numbers, mind you, but for whatever reason I did notice that one and it instantly brought back the memories.

Number of steps I have in my house.

Needed to memorise it after I tripped and fell after a midnight pantry run, walking up the stairs carrying Barbeque shapes in the dark, shortly after I moved to this house.

As a way to remember, I always thought of Dayne Beams when walking up those stairs.

 you bastard

Also, I wouldn't have thought 911 is obviously associated with September 11, 2001. It's the emergency number in the US, to be honest I associate it more with that.

Depends how you say it. "Nine one one" is the emergency number, and "nine-eleven" is Sept 11.

If I just see "911" written, I think of the emergency number.
