Agreed on the superiority of dry, and yes a little helper would be good, maybe an attractive midget with a flat head.

This is what I'm drinking:

***Port of Frangelico***

3 parts Frangelico
2 parts Port
Squeeze of lemon juice

Sounds wanky I know, but I just rolled with what I had eg very little of not much.

Frangelico is that hazelnut drink hey? I don't mind that - though I've only ever had one of those mini bar bottles of it.

I would've stuck with that and skipped the port. I'd rather stay sober than drink that shit. The one and only time I drank port I got so smashed I threw up for half the night. I thought I was vomiting blood. Now I can't even drink the expensive stuff without feeling sick.

While the chat is on drinks, what is the fascination with lemon in drinks. Iv never been much of a Corona drinker, but at after works drinks the last few weeks I have been getting into them (hey its free) all without lemon and they have been passable.

But the last few beers I have had with lemon have been terrible...

Lemon in a beer is about as bad as a decision as having Fishing board...

My first experience with port was when I was 16. Had had a fair few beers that day, went through a six pack of jim beam, and was out of booze at the beach we went to to go fishing, so got into some 40yr old womans port mixed with diet coke. Not good at all, and that was when half half...

At least I havent been like Stronz and been got into some 40yr old woman...

I used to think the lemon in Corona thing was pretty wanky but after I tried it the first time I must admit I liked it.

Now I'm 50/50 whether I have lemons or not. Depends if I can be bothered making a separate trip into the supermarket.

I was going to roll with the frangelico, and yes it was one of those mini bar bottles, but I didn't have any ice.

Port is a great drink, but you don't drink it in copius amounts. Nice after dessert with chocolate. Love the stuff.

Pick me. I kept wicket for 40 overs which was pretty damn tiring, but seeing as the other team made 350 I wasn't seeing much action. I'm in great form with the gloves but shithouse form with the bat

Corona is very over rated, I think people drink it as a fashion/status thing. There are a hell of a lot better beers out there.

I can't stand those new fruity 'infused' beers that are coming out. It makes a mockery of everything beer should be.

They should just accept that girls prefer girly drinks and stop trying to push sickly girly beer onto us.

I dont buy it at all. Have had about 40 in my life, and I dont think I have paid for one...

However, the bosses have a thing for the Heinekien, Corona, types of beers and no arguements here with free beers...

No, something that is a calamity... mid-strength pre-mixed drinks. Have them a lot at the Glory games and the WACA, and they are terrible...

Had one today, had to drive, and would have preferred to drink water then that shit...

Probably would have blown under 0.00 after having one of those it was so weak

I was out there for 72 overs in the sun and bowled 13 of them. O and I am a pace bowler so now I am completely ****ed. The other team scored about 260 and i was quite dissapointed with the way i went 1 for 58 off 13 overs. Oh well just have to work on it.

It scarred me for life. Thank god my knee is f**ked now so I have an excuse not to bowl. I'm going to get my first chance to be keeper for a whole season this year (if the season ever finally kicks off up here)

I was a pretty average cricketer, more or less in the mould of Chris Harris of New Zealand. Very slow medium, with very good control and a fair bit of swing bowling into the breeze. Batting usually opening the batting, making around 10 before being bowled though the gate... As I got older, I went from more or a 1 to a 11...

Actually went to two junior country weeks, made a grand total of 7 innings of about 20... horror two weeks...

If your knee is ****ed, I strongly suggest you reconsider wicketkeeping. It's hard on the knees and upper legs. If you're going to be keeping for a decent period of time and plan on walking during the week after, get on the bike beforehand too.
