Apparently the 36ers members pre-sale for tickets to Saturday night's final was a shambles.

Not helped by the fact that Adelaide Arena in their wisdom switched ticket agencies from Proticket to Ticketmaster (though I don't think anyone could stuff a ticket sale like Proticket did for the Grand Final last season);

the comments on InDaily are probably a darn sight better than the comments on AdelaideNow, but there was one pearler from someone complaining that if we do this we'll never get the Grand Prix back (like that's ever going to happen anyway).

Adelaide's obviously never going to get the F1 GP back again, but how would the proposed changes affect things like the Clipsal 500 and the criterium raced the weekend before the Tour Down Under?

shouldn't change clipsal, the track doesn't use rundle street as it did for the f1's.

for the bikes, i'd imagine they'd need to change the track

I'm sure Mike Turtur would manage to cope with that, given that the TDU route changes every year. They even changed the route for the final stage TDU criterium this year, so I'm sure the changing the route slightly for the prologue criterium wouldn't create too many headaches.

Good to see the Pt Adelaide/Enfield council really looking after small business.

They shut down Gameroom Essentials yesterday saying their building isn't suitable for their business.

The City of Prospect and City of Playford have come forward with offers of help finding a new home for GameRoom Essentials, and a crowdsourcing page has been created to help with the move if anyone wants to help contribute (also some pretty good perks for contributing).

when i built my arcade machine a few years ago, i purchased everything from danny at gameroom. a more dedicated guy you will not find.

he had a crowdfunding campaign to help him move. implore anyone that loves old skool gaming to give him a few bucks. would be a massive shame to see his business die.

Has anyone else been having issues with BigFooty appearing properly?

I'm getting some basic iphone version on my laptop. Can't seem to adjust settings or switch to normal desktop setting

A lot of threads seem to go missing when I view it from my work computer. Started a week or two back. I assumed the problem was caused by the computer running an old version of Firefox.

Not experiencing the problems you described, but I'm also not using an Apple product.
