So I did a stupid thing tonight. Made a call on my new phone, but couldn't hear what the other side was saying, it was that soft. Thought to myself "Crap, I was handed a faulty phone, I'm going to have go back to Telstra and exchange it but I also know that they're out of stock for 1-2 weeks. It's going to be a pain waiting for a new one."

Only after googling the issue that I figured out I couldn't hear because I left the plastic covering on the face of the phone. I was planning to remove it once I got a proper case and screen protector. Removed the plastic and hey presto it was back to normal. Never felt more idiotic in my life.

Also an interesting and meaningless stat in relation to my new dog. The last two times I've gotten a dog have been in 97 and 04, the year after and before GF appearences respectively. Now, since we didn't make the GF this year or last year, it means we must make the GF next year! ;)

lol. At least you didn't take it back to the shop and watch as the store assistant removed the plastic for you.
 
Hahahaha ^ what a derp.

How is the 4S? Mum told me the 5 is out in may next year and she has an unhealthy obsession with buying me stuff I do not want so might get the 5 cause my phone has dodgy reception and doesn't fit in with the iphone craze *sigh* but the 4S looks pretty cool.

That said I don't want the same ph. as Gaycock or Malefan

Unless your mum works for Apple, I doubt very much that she'd know when the next phone is coming out. The problem of dodgy reception probably lies more with the carrier than the phone.

Migrating from an iPhone 3G to iPhone 4S has been very liberating. I can't believe how much time I've wasted waiting for apps and web pages to load.....incredibly...........slowly.......like.........this on the 3G. If you had a 4, you'd probably wouldn't bother.

If you wait a little bit, you should be able to get your hands on the next hot thing:
