Could sum1 please give me a ballpark figure as to what the winner averages after 22 rounds?? As a first year coach i just want to know where i'm at. Thanx:thumbsu:

Pretty sure Casha averaged something like 2300 or like that at the finish
Scores of 2400 are average at the end of the season

Very nice SNE. 20 trades left is awesome, already used 3 myself.

Unless my guns fire this week its going to be a quiet one from me so you might sneak ahead, however in the following weeks i'll be adding a few guns and rocking & rolling. By the start of Round 8 the weakest player on my starting team should be Rioli.

Walsey's a hack! Who's inconsistances sees him put up constant 2000's... :)

So Walesy tries to avoid commenting on his rank at the moment. :)

Over the last four weeks gone from 1500ish, to 5000ish, to 1100ish, to... 78!

Can't really believe it - first season in. Must be a shocker coming in just around the corner, methinks.

lol a few things need to go my way but thats the plan. A consequence of that is losing Hill for my final upgrade post round 7. That will see me use up 10 trades all up.

I've got a really inconsistent team though. Guys like Bradshaw and Mattner are really saving my ass at the moment.

Looks to me that you've been pretty unlucky Walesy. You are clearly a gun, and if Barry Hall was on my side, I'd tell him that you just insulted his family! ;):p

Seeing as he isn't, I will just pray my guys kick a few goals this weekend!

Yeah, I've been suffering from the everybody else seems to make a smarter choice of captain than me. Really I should have considered the Chad for showdown... Also from the my emergencies kick my 7th players butt syndrome too...

It's all good fun though. Hoping that the trading strategy will go well when i make some. I might be on later in the week looking for some thoughts.

Big props to all those that picked Bradshaw up in their backlines from day 1.

I was tempted when I saw a photo preason where he was taking a mark and you could see he was in awesome physical condition (low body fat with paper-thin skin). Just wasn't convinced that I could carry the risk of both him and Stevens. Ultimately Stevens won out because I thought he was the less risky proposition and more people would have him, so I'd need to equalise that factor.

Took the punt on him, Stevens and N Thompson. Thompson was apparently fit at end of last season, so the risk seemed reasonable. Bradshaw and Stevens were just too tasty for me to pass up...

Somewhat kicking myself about Thommo and Richardson as well. I had Richo in my team but my advisor Walsey convinced me he was a hack. :p

Walsey if I don't win the comp this year I'm blaming you, you bastard. ;)

Birdman vs Thommo, I should have gone Thommo. With Adelaide is great pre-season form I thought Birdman was back in business. Sadly I've been mistaken.

My $200,000 Grundy on the bench will go for 400,000 Bradshaw.
Then Taylor or Brown becomes first emergency instead of 7th back.

Hall for BJ next week....although BJ is scaring me... :p

From 4 rounds he would have to be in there best 22. Not point trading out a rookie who is playing for another rookie. For all you know Bird could get dropped in 2 weeks.

my rankings dropped about 3000+ this week; didn't even crack 2000. now ranked 5946 (was 2699 last week).
same problem with Tuck; will wait to see how long it'll be first. another problem if Gamble is injured, may upgrade a forward, because my only backup is Tippett and if Maric doesn't come in this week, i don't trust Tippett to score that well.
 
Moved up to 205th from 394th. Apart from round 1 my captain choices have annoyed me:

Rd1: Cox (166)
Rd2: Corey (90ish)
Rd3: Hall (106) - should have gone the Chad
Rd4: Goodes (90)

Have to get rid of Hall now. Not quite sure what to do. My team is as follows:

B: Cornes, Shaw, Milburn, Newman, Mattner, Bradshaw, Taylor (Proud, Edwards)
C: Kornes, Goodes, Corey, S. Thompson (Ade), Stevens, Houli (Palmer, Bird)
R: Cox, Simmonds (Hampson, West)
F: Brown, Pav, Hall, Deledio, Hill, Rioli (Gamble, Tippett)

I could go 2 ways I think. Depending if Taylor holds his spot, I could get rid of Hall and trade down to McKinley and then upgrade Taylor to Fletcher/Burgoyne/Gilbee/Johncock/Kennelly and then my backs are set for a fair while, or I could trade Hall up to a Riewoldt type. It all sort of depends on Taylor I guess. If Proud could get recalled it could help me hold back for a week.
