Dear Knee-Jerkers,

Where are you this week? Where are all the calls to sack our entire coaching, recruiting and playing staff?

We played just as poorly against Hawthorn, as we did against the Dockers, we were merely playing a lesser team.

Are you now happy with the way things are going or are you waiting for our next loss, before you hit the threads again?

Finally there's a bit of positivity on the board and you're trying to get the negative people to come back out?

Top work :thumbsu:

Fair point, and I did think about that before I created the thread. Hopefully, though the knee-jerkers will start to see the error in their ways and show some more consistency in their assessments of the club, in future.

Or alternatively they could use this thread to post all their grievances in the one handy (and avoidable) location.

Actually yeah I will start with saying that I still don't trust Woosha and the rest of our coaching staff and still want them sacked because

Our team still has Ash Hansen in it and ex Fremantle skills coach and Sumich and until they go I won't be happy with our coaches.

don't really see the point of this thread

are we supposed to lay silent and be non-critical while our team (who were widely tipped to finish top eight) turn in inept performances?

last time I looked we were only 2 games out of the 8 and our CHF is only 4 goals of the Coleman medal.

last time I looked, our team was chock-full of midfielders with inept kicking skills.

pretty sure it will be the same when I look again next weekend :thumbsd:

Fair point by the OP,

We are going great guns, just 3 years off a premiership with a super group of young players who are all waiting a year or 2 before they show the public how good they are.

Clearly the best senior coach in the league with the best credentialed and performing support staff in the league

Could not be happier with where we are at, its the perfect plan by Woosha and very well thought out.

We are very very lucky John will forgive us all in 3 years when he holds the premiership cup above his head.

And to think some of us were critical of John? After Saturdays game that now it is all fixed and we are clearly back on track after romping over the high flying Hawks we ned to just sit back and enjoy the ride.

I love it when a plan comes together.

excellent use of sarcasm here :thumbsu:

i hope.

Some of the most respected posters on this board are highly critical of many aspects of the club. I don't consider these people knee-jerkers. They make excellent contributions.

What gets me, is last week we had posters wanting everyone sacked. This week I haven't seen any of these comments. What has changed in the past 7 days that has altered their opinions, or at least their desire to air their opinions?

I'm not sure you actually read the OP, if you did, you certainly didn't understand it.

obviously, emotions run higher after a loss than a win.

the win, however, was nowhere near impressive enough to make any rational supporter retract their criticism over the first 6 rounds.

we still have deplorable skills. our game plan is still flakey. our selection process is still highly questionable.

we have very little reason to be confident against melbourne this weekend.

Mate it is sarcasm,

Also you are asking for the the knee jerk supporters to post and I guess you mean anyone who has been critical of Woosha bcause on here that seems to be like breaking the law.

Nothing has changed mate, there are many of us out there that have not rated Woosha since day dot and not just recently. that tune will not change with those people.

It is not knee jerk when they lose, mate we have won stuff all games in 3 years so the vast majority of the times you will have threads with people being critical.

I understood you post perfectly well, there is thread after thread of posts about Worsfold and the team not doing well, all one has to do is post on them.

Incorrect. I consider you to be the complete opposite of a knee-jerker. I know you've been critical of Worsfold's coaching for a long time and have used logic explanations of your reasons, many of which I agree with. If it weren't for people like you, there'd be no point having discussion boards.

Unless of course your first post was not sarcastic, in which case you have just become the biggest knee-jerker in history

Mate total sarcasm as I said!!!
All good

Very happy we won this week. However, unfortunately I am beginning to think more and more that Woosha is the problem and needs to go. We should have belted the Hawks on Saturday and I have no idea why we didn't but if someone could enlighten please do.

Spot on, not much has changed since last week except for the fact we managed to just scrape over the line against an injury ravaged side in poor form. Whoop dee ****ing doo

The bigger issues still remain and still need to get addressed, all the win against the Hawks did was wallpaper over the cracks and not very well either

I guess they all are still miffed about the way things are going and that no real change was seen on the weekend. We are still poor.
Probably sick of going over the same ground which a lot of people still think is worthwhile treading.
If we get beat by Melbourne well, its on again for young and old.:thumbsu:
Me, well I'm teetering on the fence. Slowly listing to the extreme side.

unless we are in premiership contention,
wins and losses are a watse of time looking at in a young side.

if we play like we did against hawthorn in the 2nd half against most other clubs we will get a hiding.

getting a win in a game we went in favourites for is really no great feat.

id rather an honourable 30 point loss to Geelong (i can dream) rather than a win just to keep the average fan happy.

eyes on the prize!

Don't be fooled by the Hawthorn game, we played well for 3qtrs. Let's not forget the hawks had no buddy and mitchell, if those to played we would of lost. Kicking skills had improved which was good however we still only won the last qtr by a point.
