For me: Going with a straight backline that I've seen plenty of others set up with.
BCKS: Goddard, Gibbs, Deledio, Broughton, Grimes, Otten, Heppell (Toy, Duigan, Populopo) Will wait to see who plays Rnd 1 however.
MIDS: Swan, Judd, Selwood, Crameri, Swallow D, Heppel, (Bennell, Iles, Harris) I know, Donut first round...but it's first round and I see more benefits later.
Rucks: Sandilands, Cox (Jolly, Smith) Lock and forget, a bit of money sitting there, ..sigh, but just want it done with.
FWDS: Riewodlt N, Rioli, Higgins S, Dangerfield, Krakouer, Mzungu, Richardson C. (Prestia, Matera, Dixon)
Maybe a max of 10 premiums I got to get in, maybe less with the GC midfield...barring injuries.
Got a lot of GCs, but no other rookies are really standing up for me, with lack of job security, temper (Darling) and already having rooks from same team (JS again). GC just looks like good value and a risk I'm willing to take since if I pick wisely will be playing from Rnd 2 and have a bench that's full of Jerseys.
Risk factor.....huge.

Goddard, Gibbs, Deledio, Broughton, Grimes, Otten, Heppell (Toy, Duigan, Populopo)
Swan, Selwood, Cross, D Swallow, Polec, Harris (Mzungu, Hibberd, Atley)
Sandilands, Cox (Smith, Dericx)
Chapman, N Riewoldt, Green, Rioli, Yarran, Krakouer, Richardson (Prestia Matera, Smith)
You're backline is the same as mine, looks pretty standard with a lot of teams really, I'm not locking in my bench as yet, as I'd like to see a bit more of the GC's backline.
Mid is strong, though I'm not sure about Polec, he didn't seem to be performing too well during the pre-season, Contin looks good, though you might know more about his chances of getting a game, being a Tiges. Cross is nice, perhaps a unique with most people going for Boyd, though age a concern?
Rucks, looks the standard to many teams as well, as long as Smith is getting the games to cover your byes, but I'm sure that he will be.
Fwds, not sold on Chappy, injury is a question, though he looks the best out of other FWD premiums, and he is Chappy after all. I'm lost on FWD's myself (see later), also Yarran for me, a lot of talk going on about him, though not seeing the play/scores to prove it, could go a risk (Higgins or Danger) instead. Though I can see that maybe it's Yarran's time to come up more, and he is more durable than Higgs and Dangers... I like Green, could be good, captaincy could give him a lift to get more consistent.

Has anyone got the intention of doing something like this...? Instead of taking Swallow straight up (bye round 1) pick up someone like Polec who has a bye in round 4. Come round 3 Polec has made you 40-50k with an avg of around 70 whilst Swallow is still frozen at 188k and you also get a look in at his form. Trade of Polec for Swallow and you will get another price rise after round 4. You are also avoiding a donut, and with 4 extra trades and 3 extra subs trades are not as valuable as they once were. Happy Days
Anyway its just an example of how you should play the game this season, thinking outside the box, things have changed its a whole new ball game.
What improvements can be made here?? Any big mistakes I've made????
All my rookies are 100k's but still feel like I might be lacking some depth on field, backline seems ok but not sure about the mid and front?
Only about 4k left in the bank.

Nice one. Up there with the best teams I have see.
Maybe Rioli istead of Okeefe - but then you'd probably have more of an idea than I would.

anyone thought about dropping Swan due to the fact that Krakeour will eat 10-15 ppg?? anyway I thought Id have a whack at a team here:-
goddard, gibbs, bruce
delidio,grimes,myers, otten RES Toy,Duigan, Poupolo
Selwood,Pendlebury,Jack
Krakouer,Polec,Heppell RES Swallow,Harris,Hibbert
Sandilands, Cox RES Petrie,Vardy
N.Reiwoldt, Sylvia, Varcoe
Davis,Yarran,Richardson, Smith RES Prestia,Mzunga.Matera
Hi guys,
Would love you to rate my team. Still have some issues with the 4th ruck, and whether or not Magin gets upgraded??/ Let me know how you think I can improve it;
BACKS: Goddard, Gibbs, Deledio, Fisher, Otten, Heppell, Toy (IC) Duigan, Hibberd, Magin
MIDS: Swan, Montagna, Watson, Goodes, D.Swallow, Gaff (IC) Harris, Atley, Liberatore
RUCKS: Sandilands, Ryder (IC) Bailey, B. Mcauley
FWDS: Riewoldt, Didak, Franklin, Brown, A. Krakoer, Matera (IC) Mzungu, McKernan, Darling
Team is set to change a million times between now and March 24, but nevertheless what do you guys think of the current combination:
DEF: Goddard, Gibbs, Grimes, Bob Murphy, Otten, Hibberd, Pederson (Magin, Puopolo, Duigan)
MID: Swan, Judd, Harvey, Dan Hannebery, Jobe Watson, D Swallow (Harris, Prestia, Heppel)
RUCKS: Cox, Warnock (Moran, Cordy)
FWD: Riedwoldt, Franklin, Pavlich, Higgins, Dangerfield, Yarran, Krakouer (Mzungu, Isaac Smith, Jed Lamb)
Obviously afew speculative decisions there.
Thoughts please guys!?!?!
