AJ was roughed up 2 times early. Noticed after 2 Swans went off with bleeding temples. Not sure if the 2 points are linked but

Very overrated player.

I think you may be being a bit harsh.

If you compare him to JR, Armfield and Joseph at the same game development time, then he is ahead. After 5 years in AFL JR is still making cringeful mistakes. Armfield in his first few games ran around like a headless chook and sprayed 4 of every 5 kicks. The diff with Browne is that he has better game sense/positioning and can pick up 20+ even in his early development games. Armfield couldnt, and JR had no idea early on.

Joseph is pretty poor as a rebounding defender and was invisible last night. Hiding in the corner doing nothing is worse than trying and failing!

Browne did spray it and make 2-3 very poor decisions (so too did JR) but Browne will take a huge amount out of this game!

Not much said given only 3mins.

Summary

- Thought we lacked legspeed outside compared to swans
- wasted opportunities in first half
- Yarran good could of kicked 5
- Bower really happy the way he continued to run off & create
- Browne really happy with his game - i found this strange
- Spent another minute discussing the ground and it being tough for fwds

You would find it strange, considering some of the rubbish you got up and running on.
He butchered 2 kicks, but who didn't last night?
Some of the poor disposal on show from Judd and Scotland surprised me yet Russell's and Carrazzo's not so much.

We need the likes of Robbo and Browne in our team and if you don't believe that for now, I'll just have to come back in mid year and say, "I told you so"
