Are you people for real?

This topic is on a Football site - general talk.

As everyone here is a football follower, one of the bigger days on the football calendar is ANZAC Day.

Young Australians - mostly around your age, gave up their LIFE. WHY? So a portion of the following generations could sit around in a self drug-induced daze/haze!

Where are your responsibilites?

The comment about "having trouble judging the traffic" just smacks of total STUPIDITY.
Hey, but what does it matter if some unsuspecting idiot driver runs over and either fatally injures or maims a drug-induced idiot. Hey, you're not worried if he/she is charged with manslaughter/culpable driving - you will be dead.

Reading the topic and following the "justification" of taking drugs and the comparison of "a chemical" induced haze" is equal to a natural high, makes me believe the damage has already been done.

"Oh, I checked on this site..............and it gave me a run-down of xyz. Are you budding pharmacists? GROW UP!

Do you care or do you have you any idea of the harmful longlasting effects you are causing to your own bodies.

you finished yet?? We couldnt care less what you think. I'LL take them if I want to...and nothing that anyone says will stop me. It shows how little you know when you make a comment like that pharmacist comment....you dont need to be a pharmacist to know whats in it.

Go and take yur views elsewhere

Tatou? Is that ****hole still open? I thought it shut. Regardless, The Room ****s over any venue I've been to so far. As for raves, I'd never go to one.

To add to that army persononell also introduced acts such as petrol sniffing etc.

The bad thing about raves is you can't pick up there and you derive your fun by dancing all night and sharing it with your (yourself) mates in your own little world.

It is more a culture than a night out and at first it is very unfriendly for a outsider.

A rave is for the music, dancing and the drugs. If you aren't immersed in that then go down to a club or a pub and get pissed.

I love my techno but I would only dance all night if I was pissed or on the persian ruggs.

The drugs get a lot of hype but they aren't bad as they seem and can't do much damage if you are smart with them.

Dan Meliekis seem to give you a feeling of hyper and is coupled with dancing is akin to having runners high. Coke is more hardcore and is generally enjoyed by older people.

If you want to experience a "mini rave" feeling go to the Room or the Q bar.

I havent been to a rave it isnt my thing .I know a few friends that go to them every so often I personally would prefer to go to a club or just go out for a drink with friends.

hehe, just cos youve been unsuccesful in picking up at a rave doesnt mean the rest of us have ;)

cant agree with that either. My first rave...i made about 10 new friends, spoke to about 40 other people and had a fantastic time.

Rave atmosphere is a lot more friendly than your everyday club or pub. Im just talking about the Adelaide rave scene of course, it may be different in Melbourne but here, you can make friends and pick up and its a very very friendly atmosphere.

More 'hardcore'?????

I don't think so.

A good E will screw you up a hell of a lot more than a few lines of coke will. But coke's so gooooooood.......

It's just so "more-ish". Have one line, and you'll want another as soon as that one wears off, etc etc, until you have no more coke. Then all you want is more. It's a very bad drug if you don't make lots of money.

Actually, I think it was David Lee Roth who said "I used to have a drug problem but now i make enough money."

cheers

Couldn't have said it better myself. :)

The key is to do 6 or 7 lines then go out and dance all night. By the time it's worn off, you're so exhausted you just want to go to bed. Then begins the real problem...............sleep!!!

Ecstacy gets a LOT of bad publicity, which i really dont understand why. Whenever someone dies, they always mention E...but they always forget to mention that the person died also was probly drinkin, doing coke, smoking weed and probably got the E from a complete stranger.
If you know what your doing, know where your getting it from, test the E with a EZ Test so you know whats in it, then you wont get hurt.
The only people that get hurt, or die are the people who abuse the drug, go overboard, or stupidly get drugs from people they dont know.

The most common way to die when on E is to drink too much water! So thats another thing you gotta be careful about.

Coke is seen as a harsher drug because more people have been addicted to it etc.
But your right....i had a few E's on new years eve and i didnt come down till wednesday night (2 days)...then came scatterbrain for a day or so after that too....definatly can heck u up more.
Id say Coke is more addictive tho

And who's the other one who goes once in a while?

That'd be me. But i haven't been to any for a couple of years now. As i said earlier, too many fuuckwits with their fashion accessories who are just there to be "seen".

I'll wait for a nice country rave where there's not as many pretentious twats.

The reason why I would sake Coke is more hardcore is it rubbed me up the wrong way compared to a Dan Meleiki.

The Dan Meleiki tended to give me more of a "happy" feeling and I was not generally that bad after it.

Coke is probably more addictive and leads to people wanting more. With the E you can take 1 and it will last that night out.

As for the Melbourne and Adelaide scene I suggest you would find a difference. The nuff nuff factor is very high here and is pretentious.

I tended to find this the case in England too. In London it was very user unfriendly but as you went north (i.e. Manchester) it was much more friendly.

Drugs is drugs is drugs....

Bull**** to yourselves however much you want to justify it, it still remains the same.

I know two blokes doing four year stretches for selling ... . I know a shelia who was a stunner now is a hag of a woman.. such a waste. A bloke who throws up first thing every morning and then cracks open the first stubbie of the day that is the slab he lives on....

Drugs is drugs is drugs....

Now, im gonna go have a beer and relax and listen to the cricket.
