from what i saw today we gave a far lesser experienced side too much space and time to deliver the footy (reckon there were 6times they took it the length of the field untouched by a pie) which is a no no at ANY level.

mick was out-coached IMO as we never manned up and allowed them to retain possession all the way down the field for shots. any side regardless of how young or small in the body will hurt you when they can hold the ball and have shots.

any fwds who can take a catch and a 1st string ruckman are needed. fanny will be good but cant expect a 1st yr apprentice to win us a game against a very good ruckman in darcy.

was c cloke injured? big q to be asked re: playing of buckley! is he injured again? we needed to win and he remained on the bench, please explain michael

can only get better surely

Its simple. Malthouse has gotta go. he's had enough. can I ask what Wakelin and prestigiacomo were doin in the forward line in the first 15 minutes of the last quarter. I think hes an idiot and if you ask me he should ******** off. I can handle losing,, but not when we throw games like they did today. Fancy having Cole, Davis and Buckley off the ground in the last quarter. When at the same time, williams and o'bree were both on the field and providing nothing. Tarrant's kicking is a disgrace and if you ask me Rocca played with no heart today. He should have a look at his brother. 6 years older and half as fit, but does a 10 times better job than anthony did today. The Dogs are no good, and we couldn't beat them.

Sorry guys but it's going to be a long season, and a pretty grim future.

wouldnt say its that grim but what were some of the decision makers thinking?

fair bench in last 1/4 and yeh wakelin and presti should not have been where they were. c cloke to chf with presti or wakelin out, presti / wakelin to fb (to minimise his desire to carry the ball the entire length of the ground when my mum is faster and prob has more skill) walker to chb and rocca ff with taz on a hff.

cmon we make a truckload of money finishing 13th, have the best facilities and a couple of superstars with some good talent coming through. provide the supporters with some footy worth watching and being proud of. uncompetitive today and to be honest, embarrassing

Not rocket science, but why does Mick persevere with Tarrant at full forward? If Rocca is not in the ruck, full forward is a perfect position...

I suppose the argument here is, Rocca can kick from 60, Taz cannot... Frustrating

if they lead up the ground both will still serve a function ie taz a target from the backline and rocca shooting from 50+

even bucks at chf will demand the ball and provide contest and straightening up ffs

they were flipping disapointing today.
i think were in trouble this year, i know its only early days but i cant see us doing much this year..unfortunatly we had our chances back in 2002-2003 an they blew it...i think malthouse's day as coach are finished esp with cwood anyway..its time 2 trade him in an try with some1 else...our forwards were ********house today, tarrant is good but he'll never be a fevola IMO, basically cos he doesnt do enough...they need a good goal coach like daicos.
And last but not least, Mick Malthouse GO PLEASE!!

VERY DISSAPOINTED!!!!!

The Good: Rhys Shaw: B.O.G. for us. Im not a fan of this kid but today he showed me what he can do. Lets hope he can conitnue to play like that all year. Shane Wakelin was also fantastic for us. Also my favourite player Neon Leon Davis....this kid was fantastic today. Most underrated player in our side IMO. that goal was just freakish. His disposal around the ground is poor but hey look at the whole team.I think MM likes people who cant kick Richie Cole also played a good game with lockyer and morrison also having good games.

The Bad: What the ******** were we doing continually passing backwards, chip kicking 10 meters and continually coughing up the ball like we did. Our foot skills are disgraceful. Also bad coaching by MM crowding our forward line like he did. At Centre bounces he had 6 collingwood players in the 50 which meant 7 doggies. He should of had leon davis,tarrant and rocca in the forward 50 and thats it. No wonder it was so bloody crowded. Any idiot could see that.

We are much better then the bulldogs but MM got totally out coached, which ultimately led to our loss. Hopefully MM learns form this game and turns it around against the crows next week.

not trolling but u have the same problem as about 8 teams there superstars are only superstars in lower sides......besides bucks,who age is catching up with,tarrant and rocca just dont do enough week to week ,but relie on them to win games
The other thing is mm never been good at bringing through youth and this showing at the pies,took west coast a few years to repair his lack of youth policy

I think I was the only person that has stood up for Rhyce Shaw and Andrew Williams on Big Footy over the last 2 months, yet nobody listened. Yes there might be 1 or 2 who agreed, but who are they.

I hope more people take in what I say before people bag the players

why is everyone saying how well shaw played to be honest he wasnt poor he turned the ball over so much he's skills are terrible he he trys to take on anyone he can and every time he can. I really thought the Fang did well today on debut, and i think morrison atleast used the ball well when he got it

shaw was good and given the way we played was in the best sad as that is. he did turn it over but ala licka a couple of years ago if you are focusing on his mistakes then that is all you will see. we all turned the ball over and at least he ran in a straight line a few times. improvement is all the club needs individually and as a team.

Collingwood has a bad habit of always falling asleep in one quarter an at the end it always catches up with them
And obviously Malthouse hasnt learnt that putting your best defenders in the forward line aint gonna work..

All i can is, if they cant beat the crows this week, then i can SAFELY say they're in TROUBLE.

mick got out coached cause he couldnt deal with the flood (smart but ugly by rocket) we had the cattle they just got smashed after 1/2 time. 2 goals? isnt a good quarter let alone half

cmon next sunday
