Seeing the selection of the round 2 team and think this represents our best 22 that we would choose week in/out barring injury.

Yes, Bennell but he is becoming that mythical player that lives off some great games 3 or 4 years ago.

Otherwise can't think of anyone else who i would prefer in the team based off the existing squad.

Still big ?'s on quite a few players at this early stage. Look you might be right but we don't know for sure how Banfield and Brayshaw see out the year, we don't know for sure if Crowden and Cerra can handle the level and Tucker may come back better than them all, or most of them.

Logue as pointed out above and also Hughes are in my best 22 at this stage. Duman is looking good and could come over the top of a lot of these. So too North and Swita. Jonno, Sandi and Balla would struggle to see the year out.

I like that they've stuck with only 1 ruck and kept Jonno in to help out in that area so we can leave Tabs forward.

It may or may not be our week in, week out best 22 but it's almost certainly our best 22 at the moment which is what we wanted and didn't get last week.

Bennell and Logue to come in for ballas and Johnno and that'd be about right I think. Hughes could probably squeeze in as well but I'm not sure who for

What disadvantage is there to giving him a go this year? McCarthy isn't a key forward. Cox the same.

I think Cox is, or can be. But the subject is best 22, I don't think anyone would begrudge him being given a go if others form drops off and his is good at Peel.

Logue/Hughes, Bennell and Cox.

Too early for Dixon. Apeness needs to prove he can stay fit. Darcy is good enough but it's hard to see how he plays if both Sandi and Tabs are in the team.

The jury is still out on what our best side actually looks like but yeah, probably not too far off it.

I see a spot for Tucker. He should be making this season a winner, moving to that HB role as Connor relaxed Mundy in the middle

A club's best 22 always contains at least 3 players that are unpopular with its supporters. This team doesn't have enough unpopular players with only Ballas and Tabs flying the flag for the grafters.

Tabs is in our best 22 based on his showings this year , Ballas ?????? His use by date has come sadly:(

B Hill. A few posters starting to line him up. And Sandilands.

2 Doig medallists.
But seriously, you check the threads of any recent grand final club and their supporters hate the 3 players propping up the stats sheet every week. No premiership team ever has 22 popular players. How many Richmond supporters would rue the loss of Nathan Broad to injury? This week's team contains way too many popular players.
But rest assured Gav, my tongue is firmly in my cheek.
