How is this list better than Pagan & Malthouse's list? It might be better in draft picks and potential, but it is much younger.

And no club would have sacked Bolton last year based on the decisions the club made from 2016 onwards. You can produce the numbers to back your argument, but the CLUB, the CLUB, decided to cut the list deep and do a full rebuild over the last 3 years, with last year copping the brunt of the pain due to the severe list cutting and injuries.

I will guarantee you we will end up with more wins than last year and overall more competitive.

I had the same thoughts after the Sydney game. I thought I would give the side another chance but they let me down again like they have done time and time again over the last 20 years. If we had won by less than a goal I would have been relieved but still very concerned about where we are at.

We have 5-10 good players now and sos had done a good job to build our list from nothing. In the pagan days we had no one bar fev. Malthouse had an ageing Judd and a no good youngsters.

Not sure any club would have kept Bolton after a two win season where our closest loss was about 4 goals. Do you remember the gws, north, Freo or Adelaide shellackings? I don’t care about how young we were, we should have done much better.

I hope we do win many more this year! I’m just losing confidence.

Ok it’s not their lowest point ever but they are rubbish. Let’s not kid ourselves. Just watching the match on Sunday blind Freddy could see that. They had many more chances to finish us off too. Like when Wright fumbled through the goals and when Sexton didn’t see the player walking into goal on his own. Any serious team would belt them, luckily for them they haven’t played one yet.

Everyone is fine to have opinions and I am very critical of our team and also fed up. We still have dead wood on the list and players I don’t rate personally and I call it like it is.

The one thing we don’t want though is agendas and people just repeatedly bagging players with no substance to their posts at all. It is not to hard to word a critique properly and maturely.

We have won 3 games from over 30 now and supporters are upset and honestly I would be more worried if posters were not upset!

Not much we can do though and we need to stick fat as a supporter group as hard as that is right now. :(

Funny that. I think perhaps its been done to death.
At some point its just a matter of agreeing on what we want to happen but just accepting having different views on the way to get it. None of us actually know the answers if indeed there are any.

They turn game into a scrap. Sydney did such a thing to win their flag in 2005; Ross Lyon's coaching method is this precisely; both the Dogs and the Tigers did precisely this in their premiership years, with the only difference being how swiftly they moved the ball from attack to defense otherwise.

Footy's not attractive at the moment, for much of anyone, except the sides that shun pressure for ball movement (GWS, Essendon, Brisbane) and those sides are the most vulnerable to it.

It also isn't as though we didn't have our own chances to ice the game, either.

I actually feel (see actually) that we're a hell of a lot more civil than most.
May not seem that way at times, but you do the comparisons and you'll see.

Even the worst of us here, aren't nearly as bad as some that constantly attack the man....over and over again.
If this is as bad as it gets, we can all give ourselves a little pat on the back.
