Yeah thanks for the warning didnt expect it to be that bad but! dont rate them at all, most of the teams can be phsical and thats fine but dirty there is no need for that......
I think we need to band together and place a complaint through the correct channels, maybe then something will be done.
I know Wallan was conteplainting it but dont know if they did or not.
I know a few players there so I will encourage them to.
I know I told you that they were bias but it just cant be put into words about how bad it really is hey?
Does anyone know who they play this week, as it would be intresting to get their feedback after the game....

Can the league please ensure all clubs are aware of the prices to get into games - I believe free before 10am, $2 netballers, $6 otherwise.
It is about time the umpires were pooled and allocated games, $x for home games, $x for away games, this is the only way there will be no bias and it's long overdue.

I no we are putting in a complaint hope wallan does to, they play melton this week.. i agree with what u say totally!

Regarding the RDFL and netball.
Some one needs to do something about the umpire for A grade at Broadford. The fact that she called the sunbury girls BITCHES and that they should learn how to play netball is well and truly disgraceful. Not to mention the face that this umpire is the most biast 1 i have ever seen. Can anyone tell me how an umpire can advance every call for there teem yet not advance 1 for the other?????
THe Broadford A grade unpire advanced all but the first call, and all in favoure of Broardford and not once for Sunbury. How can this be allowed??? Then to say that all the Sunbury girls are BITCHES. And need to learn how to play the game.
Its about time the league steps in and does something NOW

There are umpires who are biast and there are umpires who aren't.....it is how well you play, and the attitude that you take on is what wins games. Remember the quote is "the umpires decision is final" choose to accept it and move on...be proactive rather than reactive towards umpires and for who they are umpiring for. Until all leagues decide to pay outside umpires to come in each week, then you will have to make do with who have. It happens everywhere.

Sounds exactly like the Wallan game.....
I cant handle bad umpiring as long as its consistant but Broadford is just plain old bias!!!
Rather than worrying, writing about what has been said and done over the weekend and in past games. Go through the right channels. It actually gets you somewhere. It is obviously their first season into the league, and fairs fair, give them a go and don't lower your standards. Hold your head high and be proactive rather than reactive.

But lets not forget - people are entitled to have an opinion & this is just the place to air those opinions.

Just voicing my thoughts of a proactive attitude is my style of freedom of speech. Bagging one team and their umpire is pretty incriminating.
No one is perfect and if we were, then life would be boring.
Choice of words, and taking the right avenues would be the better way to go.
Get someone to write an official letter of complaint to the league about your concerns.......be smart and stay cool

Can someone tell me why the ladders and sharp shooters are on the RDFL site and the actual game results aren't. I can't find em on there

Remember Big Footy is a form of media, the only difference is we are the reporters. As the league doesn't want to be advertised in a negative way the rule was brought in, and fair enough. How many followers have spent years defending peoples opinions that our league was crap due to what ever reasons.
I have been guilty of typing before thinking before, but we need to think before we type. It is our clubs that will come under fire, alias or not.

“No member club, club official, or registered player, trainer or umpire shall, through any form of the media, criticise the League, any official of the League, the Independent Tribunal, any other member club or the League’s rules and regulations. In default, any such member shall be deemed to have brought the League into disrepute and after the member is given an opportunity to be heard by the League Executive, can be fined up to $1000”

Great to see some suprisingly close results, seems the comp has stepped up a level with all teams a bit more even now too. Some great talent out there, hopefully greater coverage too.

Just wanted to say well done to the Centrals girls on such a big turn around from last year. I do note however, it appears alot of the girls who've played there over the last few seasons are not even getting games in the C Grade. It's a shame.
Also congrats to the Rockbank girls on their first win in quite some time (don't think they won one last year).
Comp is getting better and more competitive this year though still looks like Diggers are the ones to beat across the board with Centrals looking a close second.
Then again it's only Round 5 and anything can happen.

Whats happend to sunbury went so well last year now struggling to win in any grade??? good to see melton doing so well they will be up there in the top 2 along with diggers i think.. heard broadford not fitting in to good thats a shame more teams the better i say....

Can someone tell me what happened at the Broadford v Wallan game? Heard around the traps that there was an actual fist fight and a couple of the Broadford girls got suspended/official warnings.
