favourites for league best n fairest this season? robertson from kilmore? sims? morgan? any1 got any idea?

Look out for a couple of roos players mark mcinerney or perhaps bob johnson both have had a good year to date. Mclellan for romsey will poll very well not sure how many games he has missed though, jose for diggers should also get votes, it will be a very interesting night.

There are a few Sunbury boys that are travelling real well at the moment!
johnson, ellis ,king and a few more.
Let's stop all this b------t and get to the task at hand, how good is it to see Sunbury and Diggers in what should be the match of the round if not the year at this stage.
There are great players in both sides and some of the matchups will be well worth spending $6 to see and whatever the result, both sides are travelling forward towards the finals.
On our visit to Diggers earlier in the year the hospitality shown to us was sensational and we as a club are looking forward to returning the compliment this Saturday.(Robbie can buy the first drink)
Good luck and I am sure the best team will WIN on the day.

Bounding ahead

My tips for clubs would be...

Diggers - Sims, Jose, Ruane
Riddell - James, Wadden
Kangaroos - Johnson, M.McInerney, L.McInerney
Romsey - McClellan, Meldrum
Woodend - Cuinik, Johnstone
Kilmore - Robbo, Hede
Centrals - Lyon

Dont think any of the other 3 will have anyone that figures..

My overall tip at the moment would be

Winner - Robertson (Kilmore)
R/Up - Jose (Diggers Rest)
3rd - M.McInerney (Kangaroos):thumbsu:

I think he realised and edited the post quick smart.Basically suggested that Diggers are not well liked around the comp. Maybe we should ask the Kilmore boys if they like Diggers after 15 of Diggers players stayed in Kilmore at there mens night until midnight after a recent game.Great night I am told.:)
Dont think he meant that they were not well liked around the comp at all...:thumbsu:

not sure bout the other clubs - but i personally hold the diggers boys in high regards and have upmost respect for simsy, bev, payney, gooffa, lefty and the rest of the boys, as i have known them for 6+ years, and we always have close contests. As for the mens nite at kilmore after the Diggers game, it was a belter of a night - everyone got along great and had a good nite, a few of us then went to Diggers on the sunday to return a car one of the boys had to leave in Kilmore cos he had too many beers lol - and a Sunday session was on!! I think if Mens Night becomes an annual event for us it will most definately be held everytime we play Diggers at JJ Clancy!!!

sorry roge that was exzacly what he meant. but all done and dusted, the fact he edited it shows he knows it was the wrong thing to say.

roge who is johnson from sunbury kangaroos?

'Bobby' Johnson i think it is plays a centre half back/ flank position and takes a million grabs a game. a big inclusion to an already strong backline at the start of the season. There comming along strongly the roo boys... what a game it will be this w/e i think it will be closer than some people think...

Yeah, Bobby Johnson has had a superb season so far.. Looking forward to seeing this continue over the coming weeks...:thumbsu:

someone should be able to help me i watched sunbury in the night series at keilor and the had a big blonde headed bloke playing chb he looked fairly handy can anyone help with his name and how he is going

I was just stating that this weekend whiteout.... will be the benchmark of the next couple of years. It will be as good as any game has been between the good sides of the comp. Diggers arre respected, they have to be if they're sitting with 1 loss for the season and clearly flag favourites at this stage.

The 2 clubs have a real hard dip at each other whether it would have been the Roos of old or now, it's always a good game. This goes for off field banter as well, both teams dish it out to each other! Let saturday do the talking! Come on Rooboys!

Could be anyone Gazza, the Roos have had people all year go down back and help out, not sure! In that practise match, we had i think from memory about 45-50 players, two completly different sides swapped at half time so who knows!

Round 12

Game of the Round
Sunbury V Diggers

Woodend V Lancefield
Rockbank V Kilmore
Riddell V Melton
Romsey V Macedon

Diggers wins by 10-20 points.
Woodend-Hesket too good for Lancefield, margin 40-50 points.
Kilmore to beat the Rams by 70-100 points.
Riddell to topple Melton Central by 30 points.
Romsey to give Macedon a football lesson and win by 60 points.

you hear alot on this thread about lee james and how much money he is on and how he should be playing at a higher level etc etc.

but can anyone tell how good is he really, forget all the crap about money and rate him on his football.

Are you sure your not meaning Aaron james? Lee James plays for Riddell and is a damm good footballer as well, who could play higher football.

Aaron is the James of recent conversations and topics!

Can the Kangas get up against Diggers? They still have Heritage and big Arnie to come back.
Well performed by him and big woolydick at the uni games too.
Good luck to those playing.

He is a Gun.....Can play football, for a bloke not very tall and a FF, he is easily in top 5 in comp week in week out! Not alot to say he is good footballer.

Mate I have only seen Lee James play two games, but I tell you what, Wallan would love to have him to help out briggs and Nedalkovski at the moment.

Forget about money... On his day, Lee James is THE most effective and talented player in this competition.. There is some very good players in this comp.. But no one like James.. He is the only player who can effect the result of the game in his teams favour every week...

Others might disagree, but this is my honest opinion...
