Have played in Leagues in the past that have had this same problem. Alway's at least 1 club that forks out the coin in order to remain a force. Although i don't agree with this concept there is not a lot that can be done about it. It just makes a win more enjoyable for the honest teams when this very rarely occurs. I honestly believe that it takes more than money to make a club a success. If you have good people involved and a good system in place then you will attract the player's. I know it's very rare nowadays but honesty and loyalty if dished out will always be returned.Mongrel said:lyeah thats probably true.sounds just what the league needs,riddell trying to buy premierships again.rather than try and work with and develop the talented youth at the club,just pull out the cheque book and chase those boys.look at sides like diggers and woodend that actually coach and try to improve themselves without trying to purchase the flag.shame on u riddell![]()
