Have played in Leagues in the past that have had this same problem. Alway's at least 1 club that forks out the coin in order to remain a force. Although i don't agree with this concept there is not a lot that can be done about it. It just makes a win more enjoyable for the honest teams when this very rarely occurs. I honestly believe that it takes more than money to make a club a success. If you have good people involved and a good system in place then you will attract the player's. I know it's very rare nowadays but honesty and loyalty if dished out will always be returned.

ts how confident will the kangaroos be feeling about their chances for a flag in the twos should they win this weekend and their seniors fail.i here it they could field the strongest twos side in history?

Power 1000 to one as for not bringing kids thru 10 different under 18 played this year for a total of 52 games.Thats why we finished on top .Would love to compere budgets with other clubs,u would find we would b under alot of other clubs.

Of course he does, only played 5 games, but would any club really want to do that, a player of his capabilities play in the 2s, to win a grand final in the reserves, would he play? if he was in your side would you play him? I believe it would be a backwards step for a club moving forward.
Anyway lets focus on this week not the hyperthetical.
I hope both the seniors and reserves will win this week, not only making history by making the finals for the first time but to go a step more and win 1.

dont be a spoil sport.its just great to be talking about this club in general.but u r right this club is going forward.they have a good coach and a great president.:)

well adam ridell 18s won by 4 goals,diggers with the aid of some quality senior players won by 3 goals in the magoos,and riddell give woodend a football lesson in the ones.8 goals.actually woodend reminded me of the sydney swans today with there negative brand of footy.horrible game to watch but one things 4 sure ridell are the real deal

The move of J Allen to chf in 3rd quarter was the game breaker.

There are definitely comments missing from the thread-not sure why? Any truth to the rumours that Aaron James lost the plot today and was reported four or five times for spitting and abusive language. It was also alleged by people at the ground that he hit a young spectator-Is this true? Not sure if this is just a rumour, so i would like someone to verify these claims.

have confirmed with the boss james got reported for 1/ abusive lang 2/ misconduct 3/ spitting 4/ threatening an umpire if they are fair dinkem should be suspended for 12 months

hey rdfl supporters how good is this thread going to be now that the sunbury kangaroos are finished talking all their trash ie: all year long we have read their crap on how diggers rest are no good and that sunbury were going to slap them it seems down at kangaroo land they are full of yap but the score board my friends says that they are crap !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If true then that's a disgrace! And i dont want to hear Sun. Kangaroos fans using the excuse that he cops it week in and out from the crowd. Mick Werner copped the same treatment and never lost the plot like James does. Being ex-AFL players they will always draw attention from idiots in the outer. Did his brain melt down have a bearing on the end result of the game?

well hawk everyone is entitled to an opinion.but somewhere along the line u seem to have forgotten that this is a kangaroos thread.and as 4 being crap,u must be a f**kwit.they made the finals 4 the first time,won an elimination final and pushed diggers all the way minus mark mcinerny.

Aj's actions detracted from a great game of footy that was defaintly worth every cent that i paid to get into the ground. both teams did a fanastic job defending the wind in the 1st half until Diggers came out after half time and blew open the game. AJ did cop a lot from the crowd at times im not dening that but sometimes he can be his own worst enemy but responding back to those people in the crowd. Only saw the threathening the umpire report and must say think he may be in a trouble for that .. but anyway great game and lets hope next weeks preliminary is just as good
