It's honestly a classic. Penny was in it too. There's a what could have been player if he hadn't had those knee injuries.

All I remember about that movie is that Nick Nolte put together a college dream team that was Shaquille O’Neal, Penny Hardaway and … some random white guy.

Fun fact, that random white guy played in the NBL for the Sydney Kings for part of a season

It’s been relatively settled lately. I think the Sonics moving to OKC in 2008 was the last move (other than the Nets crossing the river into Brooklyn, which barely counts).
Charlotte Bobcats rebranding to the Hornets, jettisoning it's own history and appropriating the entire history of the OG Hornets even though it's not the same franchise/team is pretty wild too though. And New Orleans assuming the history of Jazz players, even though it's a completely different team as well.

The Oilers abandoning Houston, changing their nickname to the Titans, but then repeatedly wearing Oilers throwbacks against the Houston Texans in the NFL is the most wild for mine.
