That's what makes Lapa so good, Brazilian BBQ for the win

It's all you cab eat meat, meat and more meat. You can then top off your meal with freshly bbq'd pineapple

They used to have a salsa dancer on the weekend nights too.
Varnish on king does all you can eat steak and chips on Wednesday nights i think, really good steaks

Best lunch spot in Perth?

Little Loaf in Freo is right up there for mine.
Big Loaf too, but the lunch options at Little Loaf are tops.
Peggy's. Without a doubt.

Edit: whoops thought you said Fremantle.

Nao is my favourite place for ramen.
Le Vietnam is great for a banh mi (over hyped - U&I and City provisions make a better banh mi).
East cafe is great for Pho.
Short order for tasty burgs.
Jaws for sushi train.

Short Order is great. I do like their locations too. Perth, Freo, and ... Baldivis.

I thought they closed down not long ago?

Could be mistaken

Partial career change in your 40's. First time i've had to complete a full exam in 20 odd years. Sudden urge to drink afterwards is higher than watching the Eagles lose a close game....
Despite graduating over 26 years ago, I still have occasional nightmares that I haven't submitted a uni assessment and cannot graduate until it is completed. There's no way I could return to study. Good onya, best of luck with it.

I used to have a recurring nightmare that I'd left my copy of the Corporations Act at home when sitting my Corporations Law unit exam. This went on for years after the fact.

Funnily enough, I actually left my calculator at home for my mid semester tax exam and it never caused any trauma, even though the tutor treated me like a special needs case thereon afterwards for the rest of the semester.

I feel this...for me its turning up to the final exam realising that I haven't attended a single lecture or tutorial all year.

It's as though the constant dread of assignments, exams and tests at high school and uni gets seared into our consciousness while we're young, and lurks there for the rest of our days.

I'm sure that someday when I'm old and retired I will have similar disturbing dreams about work.

I still dream about being late to the retail job that I hated going to 20+ years ago - running with jelly legs to get there on time.
