I work pretty near it so walk past it often, its 10000% unchanged, man. I doubt it would survive as a 24/7 year long outfit anymore though, the city is so full of chemically altered and mentally ill individuals.

If it were to become a bougie lunch spot or something, maybe, but I did hear somewhere that the agent wanted very exorborant rent costs for it. A few interested parties had enquired

I like to google the addresses of some of the places on to see what’s still kicking and what’s changed.

I used to work a few doors down from where Fast Eddies was on the corner of Murray and Mulligan

Started there in 1985 and Fast Eddies opened in that location some time after that. Don’t know where it was before then though

They used to do an Oinky Burger that was an overload of bacon. Elite areas

Ehhh. Nah, Fast Eddy's was unique - the menu was very very broad. Hoggs Breath was a typical steak-y type place.

I remember Hamburger Hill, think the old man took me there too.

Alfred's Kitchen was barely okay - I think the late, outdoor fire vibe was the attraction. Went there just a few years back and you can notice the lack of quality in their burgers compared to what you get now.

What was the one in Freo - was it Captain Munchies? "On your bike tummy rumbles." Or something similar.

Black Betty’s will always be known as the post office to me.. that’s was a great nightclub back in the day…

Friday nights Used to be the Deen to yell abuse at slim Jim until it shut then either the Post Office, Paramount or Redheads with the obligatory walk by the kebab shop to yell out number 69….: embarrassing maybe, great fun absolutely

No, this one was on the corner of Hay and Milligan, directly opposite Old Melbourne, it was a small popular hamburger outlet. (mid - late 80's) Was it the original Fast Eddys that then moved to Murray st corner?
The big Fast Eddys was on Milligan and Murray.
