No, this one was on the corner of Hay and Milligan, directly opposite Old Melbourne, it was a small popular hamburger outlet. (mid - late 80's) Was it the original Fast Eddys that then moved to Murray st corner?
The big Fast Eddys was on Milligan and Murray.

You’re correct

Yeah 80’s were a bit before my time tbh

Black Betty’s will always be known as the post office to me.. that’s was a great nightclub back in the day…

Friday nights Used to be the Deen to yell abuse at slim Jim until it shut then either the Post Office, Paramount or Redheads with the obligatory walk by the kebab shop to yell out number 69….: embarrassing maybe, great fun absolutely
Might be a bit earlier than you, but it used to be Havanas, the Globe and Rumours for the free happy hour drinks on a Friday night, then head to Pockets for pool and drinks (crazy stuff back in the day), then the Aberdeen or Arcadia and finish off at Plakas for a kebab. Steve's on a Wednesday night was a big thing when it was a pub. Hippee Club for Illusion shakers. Sunday session at the OBH, the Cott or at Caves House if you happened to be down south.

Yeah i think it’s the same reason HJ’s in freo is untouched. Honestly i’ve reached a point in my life where I can live without going to the city/Northbridge. Whole area especially at night is a shithole.
Disagree, plenty of good bars and restaurants, more options than back in the day, better options too

Did you know slim jim is kizons brother, or was it mercantis, on of them

Can we just discuss how shit Zambrero actually is?
I love it. We get it like once or twice fortnight midweek for dinner.

It’s not authentic in the slightest, but it’s consistent and fresh tasting. Have to get the bbq beef as the meat though (not the new beef mince).

Can’t believe there’s people that prefer it to GyG. That said, those two are the reason why Taco bell is struggling here
Guzman sucks. they don’t even have the self serve coriander/sauce stations anymore. Incredibly overrated trash

Bloody Kizon, and his curly mate Christian! I used to run a streetwear shop in King st back in the day, and his gang of young hoods used to break into our shop and steal stuff. Cops used to think we did it for insurance, as if, drove our premiums through the roof. He never got nailed for anything did he? He used to hang out at the Leederville pub back when it was going off.

What was the weird goth club? Got dragged there by a couple of mates once, was definitely not my kind of place, noped out of there pretty quick.

The name Dominion rings a bell for some reason, had some friends who were into Goth who talked about it

Not really about the venue. The area is a cesspitt

Unfortunately I agree, there's so much really good food options in the City and NB these days, and just us much scummy c*nts roaming the streets to put me off walking around to check it all out.

Between fast eddies and rumours? A Goth chick dragged me in there once, was a bit out of place with my red and white check shirt

Used to go wherever the best cover bands were playing - Wax, Airbag, J-Babies are the names I remember.

Followed them to Paramount, the Palace, the Newport, that little bar in Hillarys that used to be the Craic, the Foundary in Cannington, the Lookout in Scarbs…
