This place was the first place I went out to when I and a mate of mine turned 18. Absolutely no clue why we chose that place in particular. Don't think we ever went back.

Went there a few times as a kid in the 90s. My memory is that their salad bar sucked. Well, compared to the Sizzler one.

No, this one was on the corner of Hay and Milligan, directly opposite Old Melbourne, it was a small popular hamburger outlet. (mid - late 80's) Was it the original Fast Eddys that then moved to Murray st corner?
The big Fast Eddys was on Milligan and Murray.

Friday nights Used to be the Deen to yell abuse at slim Jim until it shut then either the Post Office, Paramount or Redheads with the obligatory walk by the kebab shop to yell out number 69….: embarrassing maybe, great fun absolutely

Might be a bit earlier than you, but it used to be Havanas, the Globe and Rumours for the free happy hour drinks on a Friday night, then head to Pockets for pool and drinks (crazy stuff back in the day), then the Aberdeen or Arcadia and finish off at Plakas for a kebab. Steve's on a Wednesday night was a big thing when it was a pub. Hippee Club for Illusion shakers. Sunday session at the OBH, the Cott or at Caves House if you happened to be down south.

Yeah i think it’s the same reason HJ’s in freo is untouched. Honestly i’ve reached a point in my life where I can live without going to the city/Northbridge. Whole area especially at night is a shithole.

Disagree, plenty of good bars and restaurants, more options than back in the day, better options too

I love it. We get it like once or twice fortnight midweek for dinner.

It’s not authentic in the slightest, but it’s consistent and fresh tasting. Have to get the bbq beef as the meat though (not the new beef mince).

Bloody Kizon, and his curly mate Christian! I used to run a streetwear shop in King st back in the day, and his gang of young hoods used to break into our shop and steal stuff.
