You know, I hadn’t really considered how weird of a thing to say that was, especially to people that do not share gen z humour

A rough 39 daysAnge already sacked. Must be one of the shortest (permanent) tenures of all time?

To be honest I don't think it's a matter of the humour fitting a certain generation, more that it was gratuitous and nonsensical.
I do hope that isn’t a euphemism…I'd disagree with this post, but I'm having too much fun playing with my Diabolo.
Sorry for coming to this late, but he also did a Springsteen-esque cover of Taylor Swift's 1989 album in full. His version of Wildest Dreams and Shake it Off are great. But that was before all the domestic violence allegations came out from Mandy Moore and Phoebe Bridgers. Bridgers song motion sickness is about him.I just Googled his songs and the only one I knew was a cover (of Wonderwall) and I never want to hear his version.
My fave is the Gen Z stare. Somehow a Gen Z'r looking at you slack jawed with a blank expression on their face is meant to make us feel dumb. You know, I hadn’t really considered how weird of a thing to say that was, especially to people that do not share gen z humour
Mixed feelings on the gen z stare as one myself. I like the idea of it but it’s just as cringe as the millennial pause for example. I do appreciate its use to disincentivise treating young people in the work place poorly, but I feel like it’s just as if not more reasonable to just tell someone to **** offMy fave is the Gen Z stare. The problem with Yesterday is it's now forever linked to one of the worst movies I've ever watched.I hurt myself today.
Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away.
It was between saying something about footy or saying I’ve never seen a VHS
edit: I could’ve also said I’m as old as The Incredibles
Edit 2: another good one is the album American Idiot by Green Day.
Yeah I think my grandparents may have but I’ve never used one before. I was getting into music right around the time that the original iPod Shuffle dropped.I feel like you’re on the cusp of having watched VHS’ though. Like my youngest brother did and he’s a year older than you. But the gap between him and my older sister is 9 years so ¯\(ツ)/¯
Also seeing the x in your username instead of an o was all I needed to know you’re a Gen Z.

I only clocked that naming my BF the exact same as my social media was a terrible idea yesterday. Given the fact afaik you can’t change it

It was a potentially good idea, but poorly executed. The problem with Yesterday is it's now forever linked to one of the worst movies I've ever watched.
