Spend as much time in Berlin and Prague as possible. They're awesome.
Four nights in each as it stands. Might add a night or two onto Berlin at the end.
Catching a high speed train that stops, goes inside a ferry, crosses the Baltic sea and then gets back on the track to Copenhagen. That should be...different.

Am I the only one excited for this giant slide?
It will be -15 here in December and all I want right now is a warm day by a beach/pool/giant slide. So I hope it's terrible.

Edinburgh... day trip: http://www.thehairycoo.com/. Then eat haggis for dinner.
Good call. Only have two and a half days in Edinburgh but that free tour looks great.

Feeling numb right now.

Rest easy, young man.

Would be surprised if Abbott ever gets back to bowling. One life lost, and likely another career ended.
Just said that same thing to the missus.

You'd have to wonder what kind of effect this would have on all bowlers
Reckon it could change Mitch Johnsons aggressive approach
Read a really good article by Greg Baum this morning. Highlighted the joy and excitement we all got watching Mitch terrorise England last summer with aggresive short pitch bowling - he wasn't criticising it, just emphasising how the possibilty of physical harm enlivened a sporting contest and that we collectively ignore the consequences of that harm eventuating.

In the short term I think all bowlers will moderate their approach

Torn between wanting the first test to go ahead and wanting it cancelled or postponed.

The BCCI are apparently very keen to keep things moving along, but they can gagf. Also the issue of the players being mentally up for it.

On the other hand, imagine the reception if someone like Warner makes a ton.

I think it should be their decision - if they want to play then go ahead, if they don't think they'll be up for it then it gets called off.

The test was due to start Thursday next week (?) which might make it tough for them as the funeral you'd think would be Tuesday at the earliest
