Just thought some of you might want to read how the Pentagon and Rumsfeld view the success of the campaign in Iraq:

And before Hawkforce and GuruJane stroll up to smack me down, I'd like to advise them that I've adjusted my attitude to the Iraq situation and US foreign policy during my absence from this board. If you can break your cycle of abuse, you might be able to figure it out in time.

Interesting. Sort of sums up a lot of what I've been saying, and it gives me hope that the US can start to correct some of the faults in their foreign policy and perhaps escape a bit more unscathed than I expected.
