Is there a player in the comp that reads the ball in flight quicker than Lever? It's amazing how often the ball gets kicked into our D50 and Lever is already in the correct spot before anyone else has got there.

Incredible sidestep and a beautiful kick for a big man, too. We can't afford to lose him.

I get that, but it is a national comp with national agendas. Wheres the accountability for bias. Not even our local rag provides an alternate viewpoint for balance, they just shit stir the masses. Some point in the future the AFL will have to decide to continue on the well trodden path of hypocrisy or diverge to a fair go for all. The victorian media saturation, 10 prictorian teams, AFL grand final locked into the MCG, MCG cheaper food prices, Under 18 funding, academy systems and the father son advantages are all things that need a complete overhaul. Yet we all lap it up and continue tickling the AFL's nurry bag by showing up, which they then have the audacity to talk about equalisation! Honestly, AFL GAGF. Ive had a gutfull.

There's been a few small things that has made me think it's a given that he's staying. A couple of comments by teammates who seemed overly confident that he wasn't going anywhere. Didn't see this with Danger. Also saw Lever having some banter with a teammate in an Instagram video where he got asked what he was thinking about and he just replied with "money". I don't think he is a knob head like Dangerfield is so i'm taking it as he is pretty confident in staying.
I agree theres a lot of joking around with it even after the game with Jacobs

Can we combine this with the danger thread it seems every rumour, even suggestions how they run onto the ground is indicating things

He knows already if he wants to go or stay adelaide will be around the mark in pay

He has already decided like Danger had

We just don't know his decision and we won't know

What we do know from history is the longer it drags out the more likely he is gone as history tells us this

You mean like scheduling our last game of Dangers last season with us to be away to Geelong?

Wouldn't do it again this year, would they?

Alternatively they are saving the announcement for the Tuesday after our next loss to a bottom 4 team.

Nope.
Considering this is only his third year and he's almost going to make the AA squad if he finishes up strong then that's nuts. It took Rance 7 years to make the AA squad.

Lever could be a hall of famer in the making.

Move two teams out, one to the NT and Tasmania. Move the grand final every year to a different location so everyone can see a GF in their life, not only the Afl and Victorian elite. Allow every club in the afl an academy and the ability to develop local talent. Have a national under 18s comp, not just championships with a national coaching structure. Make things more equitable, it's not hard.

Not going to change until the AFL commission which runs the AFL can be voted upon by more than 50 % from one state ultimately giving that state control of the AFL it will not change

There was an interview with Eddie Betts late in the 2015 season were he categorically says "Danger is staying". Also, Dangerfield was joking around with team mates on social media right up until he pissed off. Just saying.

Also, why is the agent ALWAYS overseas at these moments? I don't get that.

Yeah that's why I made the 'I don't think he's a dick like Dangerfield' comment. We've seen it before but it's pretty rare form to act like that and then leave. Says a lot about the person.

It's pretty similar in the way it's playing out. Deflect, deflect, sit down with manager, oh now he's overseas, buys a few weeks, then we have finals to concentrate on, then guess what? Decided to leave after all.

I am supremely confident that he's going. BT was pretty smug about it interviewing that kid.

Unfortunately it seems that way to me aswell. It's like he rang Danger up and asked for his notes. I hope I am wrong.

The only shining light is the media seem to be leaning to him staying now. Even Jon Ralph said it last night "probably staying". They weren't saying that about smugface.

I don't think Danger said that about his manager at any stage.

Connors rocked up in 2015 and signed Lynch to a new deal, IMO the only reason a manager comes here to chat to the club is to sign a new deal.

About sitting down with his manager and the club. Danger didn't go down that path, it was always 'I honestly haven't thought about it'
I think you're right, I do remember Connors saying he will be talking with Danger about these things when he came for the Lynch signing though. He later claimed the opposite.
