Yeah, don't get me wrong ... I'm not trying to justify why not keeping Lever would be a good thing. I love what he brings, he is looking like a best of breed for sure BUT look at Rance at Richmond, they haven't been able to capitalise on him at all ... meanwhile the Hawks made choices that advanced their whole list.

Just sayin', I can see an upside ... landing some elite talent would definitely make it less of a problem to lose Lever. I know we are not expecting Martin or Fyfe or Kelly to announce that Adelaide is their choice, but maybe we can finally be the team that pulls out a great off-season? Can Adelaide be the team that is the big winner? Gets a left-field deal that no-one saw coming? Reaching too far? A guy can dream can't he?

Haven't been able to capitalise on Rance? Rance is a huge factor in games they win. It's a team game you know.

I'm not sure why but I think there might be some truth to the Martin rumour.

We now have Jars saying that we are going all out on Martin and theres a massive deal happening behind scenes he's still yet to sign a deal and honestly it looks like he's putting it off. Expecially with the increase due to CBA i think we easily have enough in the cap for Lever, Martin and Gov.

That said i'm starting to get worried about Lever though not so much Gov

Brett Anderson was just on SEN talking about the reported WB offer to Lever, he basically said he hasn't really heard much about it and that he'd expect Lever to stay at Adelaide. Then McGovern was brought up and posed that Adelaide couldn't afford both, Anderson suggested that both were affordable for Adelaide to keep.
