pretty happy to see the results that taylors got up after the way hadfield carried on after the taylors win over tulla. thought a few of their blokes thought the game was own a week before the bounce.

taylors used the win to good effect
wanted it more, good team performence
number 41, the ruckman from taylors won almost every tap out, proved a handful for haddy
longo played a rippa

Taylors Lakes were the better team across the whole ground. Haddy had more individual brilliance with Soncin, Wallace and Polizzi all doing well but Haddy's bottom 6 were not as good as TL bottom 6. Didn't think Freo or Hanosh had much of an impact on the game. Koroneos in the ruck was a major in for TL, he played Jets last year and Seniors all year this year, and gave them the first use plenty of times. Younan spent a lot of time up the ground rather than out of FF and Longo was good for them. 29 was good, a hard, pain in the a** tagger but still for mine the best player for TL was 18. Took a lot of telling marks and was prepared to get in and win the hard ball. You have to wonder if playing 2 games in 4 weeks hurt Haddy. Certainly wining those 2 games against TL by 8 goals plus must have had an effect on their mental approach to the game.

Now the long wait over summer for it all to come around again........

heard Hadfield seniors have proposed a new player payment system next year? Apparantly it is being based on an incentive scheme which rewards the players playing good football...
Apparantly as much as $600 for BOG followed by $500, 400, 300, 200, 100 will be paid as weekly incentives!

Any truth to this and do you think it is the way to go??

so preason will start soon if it hasnt already started.. wat sides r looking the goods for next year?? and who is every teams key players staying down?????

Hadfield will have to open as outright favorites. GF playoff, U16 bPremiers after a dominant year. Not sure how many go up but you would think that the list will be super strong.

Yeah but big gap bw 16's and 18's.. can the coming up under 16's cope with the change of speed, bigger bodies and physicality???

Heard a rumour that Moonee Valley and Haddie are going the two power houses next season along with Tulla and Taylors, can anyone give me any information on these teams?

thanks.

Welcome back folks for a new season, Bless TL for a delightful win last season, but i got to say, what ever happened to Haddies big blokes ? I heard the ruck was 5 foot 5, what happened to their tall timbers ?? injuries ? could anyone tell me :spade:

Dark horse for this years GF will be Northern Saints in the 18's , i hear they recruited well and also the pitbull at haddy had done a runner and bolted to NS, home away from home for him I guess,

I see Mick Morgan has headed to Haddy. Top notch player who can be anything.

Haddy also picked up Yahye fom MV. Not sure if he is still U18 though. Haddy would have to be a hot favorite for this year with last year burning in their minds and a very strong U16 side coming through. TL will be good again, MV have some very good U16 coming through and Tulla look to be quite strong again. Out of last years top 5 or 6 I'm not sure about APW or NS but EK are going to struggle. Should be another good season with some very cometitive clubs.

have haddy lost any good players???
teams 2 struggle will be kp, ek and not to sure about apw
herd taylors and haddy will be strong again, herd tulla have piked up a few players

I believe that haddy have lost about 4-5 player to the seniors this year, but with last years u16s premiers coming through to the 18s haddy are looking good.

Saw a little bit of Haddy and KP and Saturday morning and while KP have done well to get a team up this year Haddy barely raised a sweat. Very difficult to tell how good Haddy is but had some very good players through the midfield and they moved the ball very well. Will be there at the end of the year again this year.

thumping win (17 goals from memory) to the young Haddy boys over a big strong Queenscliff team this weekend gone, with out a full strength squad. Better indicators to come from this Saturdays game against Thomastown.
