NS V PV - Local derby. healthy rivalry will make it a tough affair. NS are undefeated at home, ill tip em by 2 goals but could go either way.

APW v Haddy - Get to compare APW to something this week. But hadfield should beat them at their running game. Haddy by 10 goals.

SH v Roxy - sharks play hillside reserve well, can get close to roxy. If theres some high winds about the scoreboard will tidy up abit. Roxy by 5 goals.

Jacs v Tulla - tulla to be a bit too classy, should run out 5+ goal winners.

TL v KP - pshh. TL to win by 40 goals with about 18 individual goal scorers.

WM v MV - if the blokes playing seniors come down they should hold off westy no porblems. But if not, then expect another close one. Mv by 5 goals.

to strong hadfield!!!!!!!!!!!!! apw alot of small quick good players, but there small bodies got battered by haddies and hadfield proved to strong...

Jacana - The dark horse??? carnnnnnnnnnnn JACCAS i hope to see them make the finals and give some big teams like haddy a scare... even though they are scumbags.

tulla and MV need there players from seniors and i think that when these under 18 players come back from seniors you will see them come up and perform alot better...

who are the gun players this year dominating the 18's???
i no Callum Ronaldson from tulla is a gun who all teams should tag when they play him...
John O'brien the new Bevan Newell????
watch out for Jack Wallace from haddy very sneaky player who is very good.
Jesse Mcveigh from apw is a absolute gun and very quick, tag him with someone who will give it to him and heel turn to water, doesnt like the rough stuff so give him a bit of attention and hit him hard.

longo from taylors lakes is a grouse player-pay attention.

any other gun players ppl have info on???? preferably from the top teams who will be there at the buisness end of the season.

there are a few more good ones from hadfield, with dean soncin who will play seniors all year, steve g who will probably be up and down 18s and seniors, hadfield and moonee look the goods this year.

not a bad effort from Haddy who had 5 out including Soncin and Stevie G playing seniors Gilly with work commitments and a few others Featherstone & Budgey out for other reasons.

i see jacana have n grossman back.
that kid was huge back in under 14s cannot imagine what he looks like now.
pacco would probably fight it out with tulla for 5th spot; cant see jacana getting there.

pacco NS game was hard fought in the first half. NS dropped abit of intensity and pacco ran over the top. 71 is a strong ruckman who follows his work up well. 17 is a gun midfielder plays like a bouncy ball. Clearly too much depth for NS. pacco by 9 GOALS.. and not 13 like someone suggested.

jacana are not a dark horse they will not make finals they r not a good football team or club and yesterday tulla were just shocking

Could have easily been 10+ goals but they really need to work on their finishing from set shots, that really lets them down on showing how strong they really are for the team they field. If Pacco get their aiming right they should be looking at a much needed percentage boost against WM, KP & Glenroy.

4 or 5 ins next week returning from injury, should strengthen their midfield a bit. They have a few big bodies around but some of them need to harden up a bit, understand that the umps are there to protect them if they go in hard for the ball.

Johnno brien
or johnno brown?

Seems as soon as newell left that side for seniors, obrien was able to step up and fill his possi pretty comfortably. when those two are in that team at the same time its going to be pretty hard for any team to stop them.
MV still had 3 big outs this week to seniors and bounced back pretty comfortably, smashing wm by a lot more than any other side has including hadfield.

despite mv horrible loss last week, them along with hadfield would appear to be the two best teams at the moment. Can't wait to see that game, particularly if both sides have there full strength teams up.

apw and haddy was a good game until 3 quarter time when apw, with 18 players for most of the game thanks to (more) injuries, ran out of legs or haddy just turned it on.
but the way the game was played, when both teams are full strength i dont think that haddy are a 10 goal better side than us

even though the apw team this year is no way as skilled as last year
they have much more heart, i would back their team to get up for a finals match more than i would last years team

apw and haddy game was alright, not the best. apw did play well up to the 3rd quater then dropped off
i can honestly say by watching how haddy played they didnt play and didnt turn it on untill the last quater with over using the handball, constant turnovers in resulting apw players capitalizing and scoring goals. apw played there best possible footy to get infront and with haddy playing like shit they were only a goal or two behind the whole time.
didnt see many injuries to apw, with still having a full bench during the 4th quater, haddy came out in the 4th and turned it right on booting 8goals to smash apw, apw just dropped there heads.

its fair to say if haddy turned it on the whole game, i do believe the result would of been alot greater than just 10goals.

but my hat goes off to number9 for apw, that little blonde kid with the tatt, he is the one who kept apw in the game, freak of a player!

i played in the game
and we definately didnt have a full bench
mammolitti, mcveigh, feilds out injured, johnson playing seniors
more who are less of an impact as well.. but they are the keys
but that said, i wouldnt say that haddy will play a whole lot better than that, even though they were missing players as well
if they played like they did in the last quarter they would have smashed us
but they lack discipline, like years before
especially last year when they celebrated taylors lakes preliminary final win over tulla as if they had already won the flag.
if they can play 4 quarters they are unbeatable... but thats a big if

number 9, klix, he is a gun
might lose him to the jets soon but

KP vs APW: KP be hoping for some high winds up at kp reserve to even up the scores abit. APW by 30+ goals.

ROXY vs HAD: Hadfield, bit more depth, should be able to hold off roxy for a comfortable win on the road. HAD by 12 goals.

TULLA vs NS: Will probably be the closest result for the round. Will be a game of discipline. Tulla by 5 goals at home.

TL vs SYD: TL too classy, sydenham for 6 straight losses but arent the worst team floating around. TL by 20 goals in the derby up north.

PV vs WM: PV too strong for WM with a few blokes back. PV by 12 goals at home.

GLEN vs JAC: Jacana to make it 3 straight by 25 goals.

MV with the bye

KP vs APW: APW to have a day out on the big KP oval. APW will be shooting to get in the 40 goal club..

ROXY vs HAD: Hadfield will not be challanged by Roxy unless it ends up in a free for all, which could happen. Haddy by 15 goals

TULLA vs NS: Tulla still smarting after a narrow loss to Jacs helped by a shocking umpire decision. Will want to make ammends and will push for 10 goals + at home.

TL vs SYD: TL will run amok and will win by 20 goals + at their own paddock.

PV vs WM: WM are terrible this year and look forward to playing KP and Glenroy. PV by 20 goals at home.

GLEN vs JAC: Jacana to make it 3 straight and kid themselves that they will play finals. Jacana 20 goals.

If you were MV which game (s) would you watch. APW, Haddy and TL will barely be tested ????

Try to land a seniors game to keep sharp.
I dare say a select few would go up to see Tulla and NS to see the blokes they're playing next week.
Fair trip out but

No big surprises from the weekend except Roxy got within 5 goals of Haddy and Tulla won by 10 goals. This week is the most interestiung round so far this year with TL V APW and Roxy v Jacana looking like interesting games. MV and NS could be close depending on how many MV players are in the ones. Will certainly start shaping the 5. A good win to TL could see them in the 5 and APW could find themselves at 6th depending on other resuls. A loss to Roxy or NS could see them lose touch with the top 5. Expect Pacco to push through and stake their claim for a top 5 spot as the year goes on.

Haddy seem to have done it easy so far this year and there is little chance that their seniors will play finals, same for MV. TL, Tulla, Pacco and APW will have seniors playing finals and that will rob their teams if they make it. So at this stage it looks like Haddy V MV, but we haven't seen MV tested with their full strength side in. I dont think the others can compete if they are not at full strength.

See Klix from APW is named on the HFF for the Jets this weekend. Could swing the game in TL favour and get them in the 5. Schepis, Newell and Vitacca all played seniors last week and got in the best/ kicked goals. Will give NS a sniff if they are not in.

Any tips ???

NS are no chance if they play anything like they have in the past 2 weeks. They will be hoping Newell and Schepis play 1s
