I know I'm a Roos supporter, but I just watched the game, fair win to Carlton and all that, but what I found really classy and just nice - all the Carlton players going to Josh Kennedy and patting him on the back, giving him a hug, all that.

Really classy football, and I applaud the Blues.

Mate, it wasn't his choice to leave us. He left behind some of his best mates in Waitey, Simmo and Fisher but he had no choice. It was unfortunate, but I don't think you'll find a Carlton supporter/player/official who has anything against Josh Kennedy. Good luck to the kid, will be a star.

He sure does have a great rapport with his ex teammates. You can't help but think he will one day seek to find a way back to Carlton.

Yeah they were i saw it. It was great to see Jk have a good game and hope he goes on to kick plenty of goals for the eagles.
 
I share the same sentiment.
A few years of friendship should not be erased by the unfortunate circumstances of being traded to another club in what is in the best interests of the club. All to often you see old friends playing against eachother and using rough tactics to mentally put them offside.
It's on during the game, but it was awesome to see that when the siren has sounded, players can still be great mates.

Cheers, nice sentiments. JK would have played his entire career at Carlton for sure such was his enjoyment of the place and loyalty. Not that I thought he was worth a pinch of shit. :o Fabulous effort tonight.
 
He was good, but he wasn't exceptional.

lets not get too carried away. josh played very well tonight but there was a player out there toninght who had 42 touches. You might want to watch football games a little closer.

All things considered, he was brilliant tonight. :thumbsu: Has lost some weight and slimmed down, and as a result is moving a lot better and getting to more contests. Also benefiting from having the ball kicked to him, and as such is leading with confidence.

Will be a very good player for WC - best of luck to him. :thumbsu:

We'd love it to happen. He's a quality kid and a quality player, and he showed that tonight.

He would be more than welcome to come back, but it's not going to happen. He'll be an Eagle for life, and I wish him nothing but success.

JK won't come back...he's a WA boy, and his family and firends are there, and from his showings the last few weeks, the Weagles will be rebuilding with him front and centre on their gameplan..The Weagles got all those high draft picks in the Judd trade, don 't you worry, they are shrewder that Pratt in an Amcore paper convention!
 
Was happy to see JK play well and i hope he can keep it going. I will always be a JK fan no matter where he plays. I heard on the radio before the game last night Kerr saying Kennedy and Hansen probably can't play in the same team. I hope Woosha agrees and allows JK to come back some day (can always dream).
