Recent Ex- Hawks Players Gone Missing.....

Just a thread about some of the recent ex - hawks players who kind of vanished off the face of the earth..........

The player I have always wondered where he had got to is Harry Miller...
Anyone know where he went???


Some other players I've wondered about are:
Matthew Little, Adrian Cox, Simon Cox, Nathan Lonie and Bill Nicholls.....

Any information would be awesome!!!

Can't remember who Little plays for atm but he had some good years in the VFL after we delisted him.

I'm pretty sure I saw Adrian/Simon Cox (can't remember which one) playing for Balwyn (?) in the EFL a few years back.

Miller went to Port Magpies after he was delisted, I think he might be locked up for assault now. Lonie is playing at Frankston Bombers with his brother and Little is at Bendigo Bombers.

There was an article about Adrian Cox on the HFC website a couple of years ago. He was working as a real estate agent. Haven't had any updates since.

Gary Moss just played a relatively good game for East Perth in the FoxTel Cup against Williamstown.

Adrian Cox is captain/coach of Morwell in the Gippsland Latrobe league I'm pretty sure.

Adrian plays for gipsland he lives back in Heyfield again , looks exactly the same , seen him a few times over there , nice guy !
I remember seeing him when playing for hawks wearing the latest fashion now I see him wearing the oldest in flannys and acid wash ! Lol

Adrian Cox was coach of Sale in the Gippsland League, I think, then coached Heyfield (his home town) in the North Gippy League.

Could possibly be at Morwell now, not sure.

A certain ex Box Hill FF wasn't a fan of Miller at all. Wasn't happy with his lack of crumbing and his constant leading in the way of the big men.

Just for interest's sake, i have some news about the young boy Nathan Ahmat-Watkins who was considered for the last rookie spot at Hawthorn this year.
He is playing for West Adelaide under Andrew Collins and his family has taken in a 14 year old boy who shows a lot of ability with the footy.

He'd heard it many times before - the young prodigy who had all the talent required to play AFL and just needed an opportunity.

So as the West Adelaide coach listened to Woomera and Districts Football League secretary Greg Burns describe the talent of 13-year-old Coober Pedy footballer Roy Murray in November last year, he maintained a certain degree of skepticism.
