I’m a slow coach gamer...yes I’m older than many here so I enjoy the slow paced aspect to this game.

Made zero progress In the 2 hours i played last night, spent the whole time causing chaos in Valentine or playing poker.

Quite happy to have sessions where I'm Just soaking it all in. In no hurry to blast through the story.

Holding R2 slowly is so you have more time to aim, I hold it to about quarter way so I can aim and then press quickly if that makes sense?

Blackjack is at Rhodes. FFF can be played at Camp or Valentine. Fishing is the 5th which is unlocked during Chapter 2.

Still trying to work out how the cores actually work, too.

There is the circle around the outside of the object (IE heart, lightning bolt), but those objects also fill up/drain too.

I mix up between cooked meat and oatcakes lol.

Haven't played God of War but I'll go with yes.

What an eventful morning. Worked my ass off trying to find that gold, hiked through maybe the most beautiful areas in the game (the Rockies-inspired trails in East Grizzlies, then found out I haven't unlocked Fences yet and can't even sell the gold.

Then I tried to do the Javier mission, rode all the way down to Blackwater (which was a little closer than I would have guessed) and the city is on lockdown and I can't really go in there. Then I got ambushed again on the way home, and the gunfight was so bad, it was literally just the two of us walking up to one another firing guns and missing before I shot him in the chest.

On the bright side, the game finally let me pick up and name my War Horse without glitching and giving me a profanity check. Was riding an honest to God pony before that.

I had the same issue with the Javier thing at first.

But I think looked at the map and just checked which way I needed to go and literally just cut across to avoid Blackwater. That is also a great mission.

I don't think so. It's a better looking game but the controls aren't as tight and combat less satisfying for me. Probably going to be double in length and maybe even triple if you waste a heap of time doing chores and shit.

If I had to pick between those 2 it’s god of war by a hair. Having said that I haven’t even finished chapter 2 yet in this. I reckon it will overtake it by the time I’ve finished.

Don’t ride in the way the marker shows you. Go the other way to avoid getting gunned down.
