I bought a new suit in St Denis, you know, to fit in. Rose north and ended up killing a couple of ex-confederate soldiers. I walked to loot them and accidentally sank to my knees into a bog.

I was way too upset about ruining a new set of pants. This ****ing game.

Do NOT touch the Gold Bar in the burnt out town of Lymphany which is in the Sheriffs office!

There is a major game glitch in which you can duplicate the Bar as many times as you want!

I just did it for 10 minutes and am currently at 11 Gold Bars and still going! YouTube it ! Currently still working but expect a patch ASAP and if you have already claimed that Gold Bar I do not know if it works elsewhere.

It’s been up and down for me like a roller coaster.

• Things I haven’t liked so far: Into chapter three and hunting the right game to upgrade your satchel is damn near impossible.
• Also when you try to rob someone why do they always fight back. Next thing you know your wanted again. I reckon I’ve spent almost $1500 paying off bounties on my head.
• Camp upgrades cost waaay too much and again affected deeply by hunting missions
• Arthur seems a confused individual. One second he’s talking about loving the life of being a killer then the next he’s having a deep and meaningful with one of the girls in camp about killing and how it’s wrong.
• Not enough John. I don’t get why it’s not from his perspective but then again I’m only at chapter three

Things I’ve liked:

• There’s Watching Dutch slowly get deeper and deeper into his own righteousness
• Little cues that fit into the RDR landscape of the original game.
• Some absolutely stunning dialogue and the visual attention to detail is amazing.

There’s very much a deep sense of forboding through this game even despite the wins you have as Arthur. As we all know from the original game it won’t end well but watching it play out is almost like reading from a book.

I got charged in the arse by a stag and then it ran off.

This happened to me on the Linton quest. I couldn't be ****ed going back to camp to get my horse, so I ran around instead, and got rammed in the butt. Tried to shoot him as he sped off into the distance, but missed.

Never seem to find john at the camp

I LOVE the idea that gang members can go AWOL and show up elsewhere in the game or simply back at camp later on. It really adds to the intrigue of the game.

Anyone else hear the dig at John in one of the missions? (pretty sure start of chapter 3 or end of 2) “You never could swim or..” pretty sure he finished it with shoot, but nonetheless who remembers trying to swim in RDR 1?

I did the slow draw ...but heck me I couldn’t do it ....slow draw fine ....but could not do it

Gave up and skipped in the end ...could not be assed

I did it in one go but in general I find duels a bit of a challenge. Need to go into the woods and practice on some O'Driscolls.

Finally have some cash and checked out the tailor in Saint Denis. I really want some nice clothes but I don’t want to get them dirty!

Spent 3-4 hours tonight for a grand total of 0.0% progression. Hunting for specific animals is a pain. Better off just aimlessly wandering and seeing what you come across. Run into some pretty interesting locations that way too.

A building that looks like a dorm full of skeletons in beds and other creepy items including a hooded skeleton behind a desk at the front

3 star snakes that don’t die in one hit thus wasting a small game arrow and ruining their skin can get stuffed too.
