ahh, the first crows guernsey i ever purchased

i tried it on the other week, to say that it was a tad tight would be an understatement, looked like it was painted on!

the design i saw was a predominantly yellow one that had a striking resemblense to this..

HAHA nice work! im still trying to find on of these guernseys to buy in a large or extra large. Cant see myself finding one though!!

I like the look of our red clash guernsey, and own one because of that fact. However, we get terrible results in it. ID be happy for it to be burned, in favour of one of the yellow ones (the inverse hooped one), and the old pre-season cup guernsey as the away strip. Would probably purchase both of these if brought into production. However adidas like designing their own guernseys, as we saw with the sash introduced when they came on board, and the two new guernseys (clash/away). Not to mention changing the Aussie cricket teams uniform for every competition, and bringing in that bullshit home/away tops. Should be yellow for the one day team, 100% of the time. No clash at all.

I guess the reason why we wore our clash strip was for the beneift of the the players and the tv viewers for when the action was in the shade. Stupid Victorians.

We wore our old away jumper (which makes the current red one look like a masterpiece) in the 2005 PF against West Coast.

It's interesting to note that Adidas have designed all of our clash/away jumpers, and have done an attrocious job of doing so generally speaking.

I don't know the other clubs clash strips so i won't say x is the worst, but ours this year grew on me. Still going to blame it for our fall down the table and want it burned regardless.

Logo isn't that great either, its very mediocre. Sums up the Trigg regime to be honest.

Pretty sure. I think in 2008 (and continuing into 2009) we started wearing the swooping Crow, which is still my all time favourite Crows guernsey and my match day attire.

Really? I maintain it was very much cursed, wasn't there some stat that showed we lost 90% of the time we wore it.

Also the design made no sense they cut the crow from the then logo, enlarged the red blue & gold streaks it was attached to, then made some weird shapes out of them and added some weird 3d effect lines and put it on a 45 degree angle and slapped it on a plain red guernsey.

It always looked like a dodgy training guernsey to me, I find it funny now that those weird shapes still decorate the majority of the Westpac Centre as it was built before the logo changed, they already look dated.

While I do agree that most of our clash/away guernseys have been awful, the fact that they get changed regularly is hardly evidence of anything. They change the design regularly in order to sell more at the Crows shop, it really is that simple. After 3 years of the same design it reaches saturation point - everyone who wants one has one - so they bring out a new design to revitalise the market. They bank on people being stupid enough to feel that they need to be wearing the current design. Nobody ever went broke banking on the stupidity of the general population.

The willingness of stupid people to be parted with their money never ceases to amaze me.

I was disappointed in not being able to buy the yellow heritage jumper. That's the one I want.

if you mean clash strip then you are wrong.

if you mean logo then i must respectfully disagree. The only logo uglier than our current one is GC in my opinion. Power's is stupid (to go with their stupid name), brisbane's is pretty bad also, and the tigers one is sort of crappy and cheap looking. Either way, ours is currently one of the worst.
