I don't think we'd quite trust him as a 3rd seamer to play Pope but he's helping us manage the workload of our quicks.

Because of such the lean run the team was on in previous years everything they are doing this season seems to be like achieving it for the first time.

One of the State’s great wins that, that match was trending like so many previous matches against Victoria. Also good to see it was the batters who won it for them given the teams strength is it’s fast bowlers and they probably had a bit of an indifferent performance with the ball for the first time in a while.

Whilst he is a total enigma it’s now almost become routine that Jake Lehmann waits until all looks lost in his career to pull one out the fire.

We've been able to rotate them all pretty well this year.

Bowling depth is pretty strong

This team is built different

I rated him as a bowler and handy white ball hitter but there was literally no evidence until these last 2 matches that he could bat in the top 7 in Shield cricket.

Happy he’s starting to prove me wrong.
