I like your way of thinking and sometimes I think like that too but it is frought with danger!Lunch:
27% of runs required with 70% of wickets remaining.
It was hard batting in the 1st session yesterday, with runs flowing freely in sessions 2 and 3. Fingers crossed it follows the same pattern today.

SA 1.42 for the winWas funny reading some of the comments in here yesterday trying to justify that it wasn't a choke with the ball
Maybe SA will rescue it but it's pointing towards a choke
Seems crazy.SA 1.42 for the win
QLD 2.65
Crazy short? Yeah lower than I expected. Now 1.27Seems crazy.
Yes that's what I might. Clearly those doing the odds aren't from SA.Crazy short? Yeah lower than I expected. Now 1.27
Have you been watching the match at all? I even said it was important to get through those first 20 overs as it’s been a new ball wicket and tough to score on for both sides. Agreed. Really want to get it done by over 80 as the second new ball could be the killer. If we continue at our current rate without losing wickets we should do that.Have you been watching the match at all? As we are seeing since then, runs flow a lot more freely. Our most in form batsmen are at the crease and in our next 4, this is where the bulk of runs need to come.
You got me into it now. 40% of the runs achieved. It's the hope that kills you.

It’s a new ball wicket, plain and simple. Queensland only started scoring freely after lunch, just like we’ve seen again today. There is absolutely nothing in it for bowlers beyond the new ball shine.I watched a fair bit of it yesterday and thought the bowling was poor, especially to Steketee who is a genuine tail ender.
Then came out on a flat wicket and almost immediately lost the top order.
IMO the pressure got to the bowlers in the second half of the innings. They were on fire even with an older ball then slowly got worse and worse. It rubbed off on the batsman who came out and pressure got to them too

I thought they fought out really well in tough conditions to get all remaining wickets yesterday. I have no reason to doubt a lineup with Carey in it, Sangha in form, Lehmann in form and a strong lower order from chasing these runs. We’ve been 3/50 a fair bit over the season and still made big scores.
