He's more of a victim of our good fortune in finding a bunch of good young defenders. We've got Walker, Young and if we were going to keep Conca it would be at the expense of someone like Tobe Watson.

jlo lost faith in him and he never got a look in after that. He wasn't killing it at WAFL level either tbh.

Pace seems a high requirement at the moment, Acres impacted the same.

4 months ago in the first 8-9 games he was a nightmare match up for small forwards. He played a role for us, did it well. All the best for the future

All the best to him but that last game he played, Walker did a run and carry handball and wanted a 1-2 where he could charge up the corridor. Instead, Conca went and handballed sideways. It exemplified Conca, the sideways crab whom loves the boundary, with no dare and can’t kick.

Unfortunately no space for Conca in today’s game. Lockdown defender yes but he has to be more then that. Walker, Chapman, Young, Hughes all have his spot.
