Big task but reckon he takes curnow coming back from injuryHoping he has a good game on Friday. Needs as much confidence as possible heading into Curnow & McKay in round 4.
Agreed, but I'm glad the siren went when it did. WTF was that final play?Improved. Used his head well.
Long to Clamp Cripps and Reef keeping Curnow quiet. 2 unsung heroes shutting down the 2 guns from Lolton.Big task but reckon he takes curnow coming back from injury
He has the pace, physicality and height to match.

He does seem to be inching progressively forward every week. Was that Reef that laid the bonecruncher on the wing that won a free kick? Impressed. He's growing. Still makes me a bit nervous when he has it in the back pocket and has to kick it (mainly in comparison to users like Houston, Daicos, Maynard, Howe, Quaynor etc.), but his physicality was impressive.
If Long clamps Cripps and Pies win, I'll buy my son a #44 guernsey.Long to Clamp Cripps and Reef keeping Curnow quiet. 2 unsung heroes shutting down the 2 guns from Lolton.![]()

My back pain agrees. He must be a big kid.
Watched the reply with my boys again yesterday and they were asking who #44 was. This prompted an unscheduled memorisation lesson of the teams players and their numbers. After breezing through the Fonzies such as Nick, Josh, Bobby, Dan, Pendles etc they needed a bit of help with the Potsys like Reef, Ned, Lachie etc. We’ll revisit this after next weeks game and hope some improvement is shownIf Long clamps Cripps and Pies win, I'll buy my son a #44 guernsey.
i would start Moore on Curnow, bring Frampton in to play on Mckay ( need that bigger body to be able to compete ) , would still have McInnes in the side to play on their 3rd tall will Howe as the interceptor.
Frampton only to come in to play on the gorilla forwards
Howe Frampton Quaynor
Maynard Moore McInnes

It's a shame our Richie left for Gold Coast last year. The show just hasn't been the same. I think that would be a quick way to wreck his confidence. He is not strong enough to match Curnow, and I don't think he can compete with his size (specifically the way he high-points the ball with his long arms and jump) and his forward craft.Big task but reckon he takes curnow coming back from injury

His in the team to play the 2nd key defender role. If he cant play on Curnow or McKay there is no point picking him. We may as well find out if hes upto it against Naughton and McKay.I think that would be a quick way to wreck his confidence. we basically learned nothing against Port, a real test will be against the dogs. They have Darcy and Naughton. im sure Moore will play on Darcy just because of his height, so that leaves Reef on Naughton. Be a good test for him, and Naughton usually plays well against us.His in the team to play the 2nd key defender role. If he cant play on Curnow or McKay there is no point picking him. Or set his Apple Watch to say it’s September. The key to stopping curnow is nullifying the umpires whistle
