If true top effort to play on. I thought it looked like a rolled ankle but who knows. At least he has plenty of time to get it right (whatever is wrong) before next year.

I've done that before via rolled ankle not dissimilar to Reid's. Let's hope it was similar to mine, it was relatively easy recovery not much different to torn ligaments.

I've heard Club doctors prescribed him to sink as much piss as possible over the next month.

I appear to be on the same treatment plan.

It will just be a little avulsion fracture, that's where the ligament gets stretched and rather than the ligament tearing, its just cleaves off the very tip of the fibula where it was attached to.

Given bone heals up better than ligament, in a sense you'd prefer the above rather than tearing the ligament.

Will make full recovery.
